\"\"Islamabad; 24 June 2021 \u2013 Embassy of Kyrgyz Republic to Pakistan launched the book \u201c The Kyrgyz\u201d in Islamabad. The book has been authored by Marina Bakanova who has presented her deep research on origins and ethno genesis of the Kyrgyz people. One should read the book for better understanding of this country and the people. <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ambassador Mr. Erik Beishembiev hosted the launching ceremony while Mr Aibek Tilebaliev presented the introduction of the book. The author was also present. Ambassadors of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, South Korea, Austria and Yemen attended the launch.\"\"<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ambassador, in his remarks about the book and the author, said that \u00a0\u00a0the book was launched this year, when Kyrgyzstan was celebrating its 30th<\/sup> anniversary of Independence.<\/h3>\n

He shared that history of Kyrgyz nation dated back as early as III century B.C. when the name Kyrgyz was first mentioned in Chinese chronicles, our people passed through a long and difficult way to fulfill their dream and form their own modern state only after dissolution of Soviet Union.<\/h3>\n

\u201cThroughout our long history, we had five major periods of rising and falling, including the flourishing of the first Kyrgyz Khaganate \u2013 an ancient state in IX-X centuries, which covered vast territories from Siberia to Central Asia.\u201d Ambassador noted.<\/h3>\n

Mr Erik shed light on all five periods with historical references and elaborated that Kyrgyz state is steadily and peacefully developing on the way of democracy and freedom.<\/h3>\n

\u201cWe always remember our historical leaders Barsbek Kagan, Muhammed Kyrgyz Khan, Usup Abdrahmanov, Kasym Tynystanov, great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov and his father Torokul, heroes of the 2010 revolution and all others, who contributed to the freedom and independence of Kyrgyzstan.\u201d He continued.\"\"<\/h3>\n

Mr Erik also spoke on Kyrgyz \u2013Pakistan relations and that very highly.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

He said that both countries enjoy excellent bilateral relations. In June 2019, Prime Minister Imran Khan met his Kyrgyz counterpart on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in our capital Bishkek.<\/h3>\n

There are several priority areas for economic cooperation between our countries, which may include electricity production and supply, mining industry, light and food industries, medicine and pharmaceuticals, IT technologies.Pakistani and Kyrgyz businessmen may open joint ventures on textile production as Kyrgyzstan is already a major supplier of textile goods to Russia and Kazakhstan and Pakistan is one of the world\u2019s top textile producers.\"\"<\/h3>\n
