He said this in a meeting with Ambassador Irena Gancheva of Bulgaria who called on him on 11 November 2021 in Islamabad.<\/h3>\n<h3>During their conversation the two sides discussed the development and enhancement of the bilateral cooperation, including in the area of news and information exchange, which would contribute to increasing the mutual knowledge between the people of Bulgaria and Pakistan. They also shared views on important regional topics, including the situation in Afghanistan and the role of the neighbouring countries.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u201cThe prevailing situation in Afghanistan is not less than any tragedy,\u201d the minister told Bulgarian Ambassador to Pakistan Irena Gancheva in a meeting here.<\/h3>\n<h3>Terming a recent report on Afghanistan by an international journal The Economist \u2018worrisome,\u2019 he said some 23 million people, out of the 38 million, in Afghanistan suffered from malnutrition and children died out of hunger in the war-ravaged country.<\/h3>\n<h3>The Bulgarian envoy appreciated Pakistan\u2019s efforts for safe evacuation of foreign nationals and diplomats from Afghanistan.<\/h3>\n<h3>Pakistan\u2019s role for establishing peace in Afghanistan is laudable, she remarked, assuring that Bulgaria would play its part to bring peace in Afghanistan.<\/h3>\n<p>https:\/\/www.mfa.bg\/en\/embassies\/pakistan\/news\/31126<\/p>\n<h3>The minister said Pakistan had been conveying its concerns to the world about Afghanistan.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u201cPakistan wants and stability in Afghanistan,\u201d he said, fearing that the global terrorist organizations could establish their centers in \u2018unstable\u2019 Afghanistan.<\/h3>\n<h3>Fawad said his country had appealed to the world for extending assistance to the people of war-torn Afghanistan, expressing confidence that Bulgaria could play a key role in that regard.<br \/>\nHe said Pakistan would not recognize the current government of Afghanistan until the regional powers acknowledged it.<\/h3>\n<h3>The minister said Pakistan and Bulgaria had been enjoying decades-long diplomatic and brotherly ties, adding Pakistan always kept its ties with Bulgaria in highest esteem.<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12836\" src=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Bulgaria_Pakistan2-e1636880045953.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"245\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad; Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Thursday said the world including European Union (EU) must play their due role to ensure stability in Afghanistan.
