\"\"Islamabad: 19 Dec 2021 – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that a stable Afghanistan is better for the region, the current situation in Afghanistan is very serious, urgent steps are needed to help the Afghan people, Afghanistan to stop the influx of refugees from Afghanistan to neighboring countries. We need a stable government, Pakistan has already hosted more than 3 million Afghan refugees for four decades, the concept of human and women’s rights is different in every society, we have to be sensitive to these rights, if any If the government cannot pay salaries to its employees and medical staff, it will not be able to remain stable.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

Islamophobia is a major problem, it has escalated to alarming levels since 9\/11, the OIC has to play its part in curbing it, the Council of Foreign Ministers has come up with a solid strategy to overcome the current crisis in Afghanistan, hopefully. Peace on the OIC will play its part for Afghanistan.<\/h4>\n
Welcoming<\/span> all the participants, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that this extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has been convened to consider the current crisis in Afghanistan. No one else has faced as many problems as the people of Afghanistan. Pakistan has suffered the most due to the situation in Afghanistan. Afghanistan has been suffering from civil war for four decades. A large part of its population has been displaced. No country in the world has seen more problems than Afghanistan.<\/span><\/div>\n

He said that it was gratifying that all the guests attending the conference were aware of the situation in Afghanistan. He said that Afghanistan’s banking system was in a state of stagnation, adding that stagnation in the banking system of any country could not bring stability in this country. The problem of Afghanistan is the problem of 40 million people. The current crisis in Afghanistan is already too late. The interim Foreign Minister of the Comprehensive Government to be formed here announced his commitment to resolve the three conditions imposed.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The<\/span> Prime Minister said that there is a concept of human rights and women’s rights in every society. The culture of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan is similar to that of Afghanistan. There is a clear difference between urban and rural cultures. Peshawar’s culture is different from Pakistan’s cities bordering Afghanistan. We need to recognize the sensitivity of human and women’s rights. He said the government in Afghanistan does not have salaries to pay its employees, even doctors and medical staff. No such government can be stable. A strong government is needed to prevent terrorism from Afghanistan to Pakistan.<\/span><\/div>\n

Pakistan<\/span> has sacrificed 80,000 lives since the Afghan war. More than 100 100 billion in economic losses. It has been hosting more than 3 million Afghan refugees for four decades. If peace and stability do not come to Afghanistan, more refugees may come. The whole world is facing the problem of refugees. Iran could also face more refugees due to instability in Afghanistan. The Prime Minister said that if refugees are a problem for developed countries then how can poor countries like Pakistan afford to host millions of refugees.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He hoped that peace on OIC would play its role for Afghanistan. The Prime Minister said that immediate and long term steps taken by the Chairman of Islamic Development Bank were important. He said that the OIC foreign ministers should come up with a clear roadmap for resolving the current crisis in Afghanistan so that the crisis in Afghanistan could be resolved. The Prime Minister said that the people of Kashmir and Palestine are looking at us. Their human and democratic rights are being violated. They could not even implement the rights given to them by the United Nations. We have to play a role in this regard from the OIC forum.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Prime Minister said that Islamophobia is a big problem in the world. It began after 9\/11, which has now escalated to alarming proportions, with more than 50 Muslims martyred in a New Zealand mosque. It is important for IC to play its role in this regard. The West is propagandizing against Islam. The Rehmat-ul-Alamin Authority will respond in consultation with Muslim intellectuals around the world. The Prime Minister said that we have created Rehmat-ul-Alamin Authority. This authority will highlight the true identity of Islam in consultation with Muslim scholars around the world.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He said that Islam is one and that Islam belongs to our Holy Prophet (PBUH). Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the mercy of the worlds for all human beings, just as Allah Almighty is the Lord of all human beings, so is the Holy Prophet (PBUH). We want the Rehmat-ul-Alamin Authority to bring the true concept of Islam to the world. He called on the OIC member states to come up with concrete strategies to help Afghanistan out of the crisis. <\/span><\/div>\n

He was addressing the 17th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) here on Sunday. OIC Secretary General Hussein Ibrahim Taha, Islamic Development Bank Chairman Dr. Muhammad Salman Al Jasser, UN Deputy General Secretary for Human Rights, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Jordanian Minister Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi, Nigerian Foreign Minister Yousuf Mohammed and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi also addressed the gathering.<\/span><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
