National Security Committee of Pakistan has once again re-affirmed that no Conspiracy has been found in the email sent by Dr Asad Majeed the then Ambassador of Pakistan to USA in March this year. The NSC met in its 38th meeting under the chair of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on 22 April 2022. <\/span><\/h4>\n

Ambassador Asad Majeed was present in the meeting as Prime Minister Shehbaz announced in his first address as PM in the National Assembly that Asad Majeed will be called to attend the meeting and brief the matter personally to the National Security Establishment of Pakistan.<\/h4>\n

A statement was released after the meeting that reads as ;<\/span><\/h4>\n

\u201cThe telegram received from the Pakistan Embassy in Washington” was discussed in detail during the meeting. Dr Asad Majeed Khan briefed the meeting about the context of his diplomatic cable that carried the alleged threat sent to the PTI government last month by US officials.”<\/span><\/h4>\n

“Therefore, the NSC, after reviewing the contents of the communication, the assessment received, and the conclusions presented by the security agencies, concludes that there has been no foreign conspiracy.”<\/h4>\n

“The NSC, after examining the contents of the communication, reaffirmed the decision of the last NSC meeting. The NSC was again informed by the premier security agencies that they have found no evidence of any conspiracy.”<\/h4>\n

The same was discussed in the previous 37th meeting of NSC on 31st March convened by the then PM Imran Khan that there is no conspiracy but it is blatant intervention that should be responded accordingly.<\/h4>\n

The latest meeting was attended by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Nadim Raza, Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Air Staf Air Chief Marshal, Zaheer Ahmad Babar, Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi.<\/h4>\n

Minister Defence Khawaja Asif, Minister Interior Rana Sana Ullah, Minister Planning Ahsan Iqbal and State Minister Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani and Minister Information Marriyum Aurangzeb were also present.<\/h4>\n
