The congresswoman from New York Ms. Yvette. D. Clark has appreciated the role of the Pakistani community in the progress of the USA. She has said that the Pakistani community is playing important role in the development of the USA. Pakistanis are sincere and hard-working. They are strengthening USA Pakistan’s friendship with their contributions to the USA. Pakistan has always supported USA and USA admits and appreciates it. The Pakistani community is an asset to the USA. She appreciated the role Pakistan House is playing in bridging the gaps between USA and Pakistan.<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n
She said this as chief guest at the Alizai Foundation’s celebration event in connection with the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan with National enthusiasm. A special event was organized by Naseem Khan Alizai at Pakistan House New York in which Consul General of Pakistan Ms. Aysha Ali, Congresswoman Yvette. D. Clark, and Chinese candidate for Congress Mr. Yan Xiong were special guests.<\/h5>\n
Representatives of Pakistani political parties Khalid Awan, Sarwar Chaudhary from PPP, Danish Malik PMLN, Ibrar Khan, Zafar Khan from PTI, and other Pakistanis also participated.<\/h5>\n
Shahroz Khan Alizai conducted the event. Mirza Anis Baig recited verses from Holy Quran to start the celebration. Rana Akhlaq Ahmad and Mirza Anis Baig presented Naat.\"\"<\/h5>\n
Naseem Khan Alizai,<\/strong> in his welcome address, said that we need unity and faith just like when we were united under the leadership of Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Our homeland is facing an economic and financial crisis. Our people should play their role in strengthening the economy of Pakistan. He appealed to all political leaders of Pakistan to work together for the betterment of Pakistan.<\/h5>\n
Consul General Pakistan in New York, Ms. Aysha Ali said that the Government of Pakistan is leaving no stone unturned to bring economic and political stability to the country. She said Pakistan has secured many achievements after independence like Pakistan being the first Islamic nuclear power. We have made our defense impregnable. No one can dare challenge our sovereignty. She appreciated the efforts of the Alizai Foundation in hosting such events that bring the Pakistani community together and provide opportunities for them to contribute to the well-being of the community and the country.<\/strong><\/h5>\n
The candidate for congress Mr. Yan Xiong<\/strong> who is from China said that China and Pakistan are all-weather friends. They stand with each other in all circumstances. I expect the same response from the Pakistani community in New York. He asked the community to vote for him and he will support Pakistan in Congress. I will prove that China is a real friend of Pakistan.<\/h5>\n

The participants welcomed the remarks of the speaker with a big clap. The guest cut a specially made cake of Pakistan’s Independence with a beautiful flag carved on it.
