Azerbaijan`s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has met with Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan. The Pakistani delegation first visited the Alley of Martyrs and paid tribute to the memory of sons of the Motherland, who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, as well as laid a wreath at the \u201cEternal Flame\u201d memorial.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
Welcoming the guests, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov expressed satisfaction to see them in Azerbaijan. The minister noted that there is traditional friendship and mutual trust between the two countries` peoples, as well as Azerbaijani-Pakistani relations and strategic partnership are developing.\"\"<\/h5>\n
Conveying the greetings of the minister of defense of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi stressed the importance of such meetings and mutual ties in strengthening relations between the two countries.<\/h5>\n
The significance of developing both bilateral and trilateral joint military cooperation with the participation of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Turkiye was emphasized during the meeting.<\/h5>\n
At the end of the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in the military, military-technical, and military-educational spheres, as well as other issues of mutual interest.<\/h5>\n
Commander of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Subhan Bakirov has met with a delegation led by Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi in Baku.<\/em><\/span>\"\"<\/h5>\n
First, an official welcoming ceremony was held in the Naval Forces. The Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy passed along the guard of honor and the national anthems of both countries were performed.<\/h5>\n
Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi laid a wreath at a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the territory of the military unit.<\/h5>\n
Then the head of the Pakistani delegation signed the Distinguished Visitors\u2019 Book.<\/h5>\n
Welcoming the guests, Commander of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Subhan Bakirov stressed that cooperation between the two countries in the military sphere is based on friendly and fraternal relations.<\/h5>\n
The delegation was given an extensive briefing on the history and activities of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces.<\/h5>\n
Expressing gratitude for the hospitality, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi emphasized the significance of the work carried out in the direction of further development of the Naval Forces of both countries.<\/h5>\n
