An Arab diplomat of a highly influential country\u00a0 is accused of rape of a Pakistani girl at Diplomatic Enclave in Islamabad where the diplomat kept her (in habeas corpus, allegedly) for two days and nights. Police is trying its utmost to keep the matter secret by not registering the FIR against the diplomat.<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n
The girl (H) is from Lahore who was in touch with the diplomat on Instagram. The diplomat allured her with the offer of a good job. The girl arrived in Islamabad where the diplomat took her into the enclave. The girl says ” They were more than one”. It means she is alleging a gang rape but she can not share the exact names of the diplomats or whoever they are. She says “They were speaking Arabic, so they are from ………………..”.<\/h5>\n
The girl remained there in between 15 to 17 March with no job available on the spot. It was only after then that she filed a complaint through her lawyer Mr. Pervez Bhatti.<\/h5>\n
The Secretariat Police has refused to register FIR on the pretext of medical result of rape. Actually Police is not ready to engage a diplomat and that of Arab country into such a matter that can become a huge embarrassment for the government and foreign ministry of Pakistan. Another reason is that the girl failed to share the names. She said that she can recognize them if they are brought in front of me. Certainly the diplomats can not be asked for a Shanakht Parade.<\/h5>\n
The lawyer of the girl is now trying to get medical result of rape. He is expected to move the court for registration of FIR when medical result is secured.<\/h5>\n
Police can investigate the matter from both sides. The girl came Islamabad from Lahore on her own wish and will. There are examples in which women black mail men especially men of high positions only to earn big amount. How come she entered into enclave and reached there if she does not know the name of her “host”.<\/h5>\n
Second side is, the diplomat entered her into enclave and hosted her for two days and nights. It raises questions on the conduct of the diplomat as extremely irresponsible person who created extra awkward situation for both countries.<\/h5>\n
