Deterioration is not only in our politics and national character, performance, responsibilities but it has become a continued phenomenon in our once highly well reputed education system as well. Where the new generation is heading to , what this hope of the future is up to and what their teacher, mentors, leaders are doing? This is the question of the hour that seeks answer and solution as early as possible if we have to live and walk with the world community shoulder by shoulder.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n
Here it is about the worst state of affairs at Qauid e Azam University Islamabad from where the Registrar of the university has\u00a0 left\u00a0 due to deteriorating situation of studies and continued confrontations in groups of the students. This university has been Alma Mater of hundreds of students who emerged as the leaders in different sectors of life. But now the picture is very dark.<\/h5>\n
The registrar Raja Qaiser Ahmed has point out the reasons behind his resignation as\u00a0 :<\/h5>\n
“I have left the charge of the Registrar QAU (Quaid e Azam university Islamabad), but I have to painfully admit that over the years QAU has gradually downslided.<\/h5>\n
I squarely accept the onus of responsibility.<\/h5>\n
Being an evident to the last two years I can safely say that ethnic councils (Pashtun, Baloch etc) have precipitated an indomitable influence.<\/h5>\n
These councils are violent and inherit a false arrogance with despicable ethics, mediocre intellect, below the mark professionalism and superficial anarchic instinct.<\/h5>\n
The reliance on heresy and tirade, disregard for gender sensitivity, patronizing superiority and toxic chauvinism have become prevalent ubiquitous, and all in the garb of a pigeonholed approach amassing shame and embarrassment for the university.<\/h5>\n
Consequently, the enrollment has drastically reduced.<\/h5>\n
This semester university had only 270 admissions because parents don’t feel it a secure place anymore.<\/h5>\n
The repeated closures of the university, consumption of drugs and abject lawlessness have brought this institution to its feet.<\/h5>\n
The huts were the dens of drugs and hostels were the safe heavens of illegal dwellers.<\/h5>\n
The real-time remedy was to have a clamp down on these two nuisances.<\/h5>\n
The demolition of huts and evacuation of the hostels were indispensable.<\/h5>\n
I regret that genuine students and researchers who had nothing to do with this mess had to face the inconvenience but circumstances necessitated that to avoid any further grisly happening.<\/h5>\n
I have witnessed that the mismanagement of this university is often construed as the beauty of this university.<\/h5>\n
There is a marked line of difference between liberty and lawlessness.<\/h5>\n
I have been to 18 countries and never seen a single university where unauthorized access is possible or you can break the heads of the students of other community in the duress of liberty.<\/h5>\n
*This is outright criminal.<\/h5>\n
The most agonizing part is the character assassination of teachers by the ruffians which reflect poor on their parenting and socialization.<\/h5>\n
Students forget that they are not here to be the political leaders but to be cognizant career oriented individuals.<\/h5>\n
The effective campus management is never called securitization in any part of the world.<\/h5>\n
The top ranked university (which is of course not because of councils) can’t be left at the mercy of hooligans and hoodlums.<\/h5>\n
I hope the campus reforms will be executed as decided and this university will regain its lost glory and grandeur.<\/h5>\n
May God bless this otherwise a wonderful university.<\/h5>\n
I am leaving it on a higher note and expect and pray that we may collectively revive QAU which was tolerant, pluralistic, and progressive.<\/h5>\n

Here it is worth noting that the university has been in the news for illegal activities of insiders as well as outsiders. It has been reported time and again that the university needs attention of the administration but nothing has ever been done for the improvement of the worst education atmosphere around. There have been many armed confrontations on differences of\u00a0 ethnicity and other petty issues between the student groups in the past and most recently as well.<\/h5>\n

This resignation can be seen as a test case to correct the things at the university. President Dr Arif Alvi and Federal Minister Education Rana Tanvir are expected to call the V.C, Syndicate or Board of Management, everyone who is responsible for smooth learning process here for explanation and correction.<\/span> <\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n
