\"\"The public of the Republic of Uzbekistan have once again expressed full confidence in the leadership of Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev to head the emerging nation for a term of 7 years at the President House only to accomplish the task of implementation of the constitutional, democratic, citizen oriented, societal beneficial and above all public friendly reforms to help the state enter into a new phase of New Uzbekistan. The re-elected President has prioritized Education and Economy in his election campaign. Both points are said to be the turning points in the restructuring and rebuilding of any nation. The President of New Uzbekistan with New Mandate is determined to achieve the goals, he set for the well being of his nation.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h4>\n
The Central Election Commission shared the\u00a0 preliminary results on 10 July that\u00a0 Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev has been re-elected with 87.1% of the vote on 09 July 2023. More than 15 Million voters cast their votes in the election that was observed by more than 797 foreign observers including the heads of International organizations and media representatives of different countries including Central Asia, Europe, Asia and Pakistan. Most of them, except a few, have admired the conduct of the election as open and transparent.\"\"<\/h5>\n
Reuters representative was also among the international observers. He acknowledges, “The 65-year-old president has opened up the country of 35 million people to foreign trade and investment while also easing restrictions on religious and political freedom<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
Mr. Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, Presidential Candidate of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen \u2013 Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, has contested the election with three candidates surrendering his 3 years term only to seek fresh mandate in the wake of adoption of new constitution that consists of 70 % new reforms introduced after a 3 years preparation of how to build a New Uzbekistan with more human rights, public liberties in basic law, open and peaceful foreign policy and connectivity between the nations of the regions. A national referendum was held on April 30 this year to get the approval of the public of the republic.<\/em><\/h5>\n
It was only after that national activities with all stake holders on board, that the President announced on 08 May to hold snap Presidential Election on 09 July 2023. Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev considers that he needs new mandate to implement the reforms incorporated in the new constitution.\"\"<\/h5>\n
The other candidates were : Ulugbek Ilyasovich INOYATOV, the People\u2019s Democratic Party , Ms, Robakhon Anvarovna MAKHMUDOVA, the Social Democratic Party Adolat and Abdushukur Khudoykulovich KHAMZAEV of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan.<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n
Mr. Mirziyoyev carries a vast working experience in the governance, management, public administration and policy making. He served as Prime Minister with the first President Mr. Islam Karimov for 13 years. He was elected second President on the death of the first President in 2016. Since then, he has served only one full term of 5 years as the President. He was re-elected the President in Oct 2021. He initiated the process of reforms at the same time and completed it in last two years tenure.<\/h5>\n
