\"\"<\/span>Islamabad, October 25, 2023 – A gala reception dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the capital of Pakistan, which was attended by members of the government officials, senators,representatives of Pakistani government agencies, diplomats, business and public figures, media personnel, and more.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
The Guest of Honor at the occasion was Mr. @ShahidAshrafTarar, the Minister of Communications, Maritimes Affairs, and Railways in Pakistan. The event was also attended by Deputy Speaker of the Senate Mirza Muhammad Afridi<\/span><\/a>, Minister of Regulation and Coordination of National Health Services Dr. Nadeem Jan, Minister of Human Rights Khalil George, former Minister of Defense Industry Ex-Federal Minister Sardar M Israr Tareen<\/span><\/a>.<\/h5>\n
During his welcoming speech, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin, highlighted the positive progress in bilateral relations while separately outlining the objectives set by the President in the Address to the People of Kazakhstan \u201cEconomic Course of a Fair Kazakhstan\u201d focusing on the development of the North-South transport corridor, and strengthening friendly ties with the countries of South Asia, with Pakistan being a key partner in the region.<\/h5>\n
\"\"Guest of Honor, Sh. A. Tarar, stressed the significance of cultivating a strategic partnership between the two countries, saying that Pakistan highly values relations with Kazakhstan and wished success and prosperity to the Kazakh people.<\/h5>\n
In order to promote Kazakh cultural heritage and foster cooperation, a joint fashion show of featuring the national clothing brand “Tarbiya,” by Kazakh designer Tarbiya Aidymbayeva<\/span><\/a> and the Pakistani brand of the same name from designer Munib Nawaz<\/span><\/a>, as well as an exhibition of jewelry and national products from the Union of Craftsmen of Kazakhstan was organized.<\/h5>\n
