Pakistani editors Mr. Tazeen Akhtar from Daily Azkaar and Monthly International Magazine “Pakistan in the World” , Naveed Ahmad Khan from Daily Spokesman, during their visit to Indonesia from 16 to 26 Oct 2023 visited Solo Techno Park where Marketing Executive Risky Budi Kurniawan welcomed them and briefed about the park. He took them to different sections of the part where the students from different Indonesian universities and institutes were learning about innovation and having vocational training.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h5>\n
The park serves as the center where the industry and the market research is carried out and the educational institutions are provided opportunities and facilities to send their students for preparedness according to the demands of industry and market.<\/h5>\n
The park is the national role model for innovation, creation and talent development centers. President Joko Widodo visited the park last year and appreciated the role the park is playing in the development of trained human resources for Indonesia as well as for the international market and industry.<\/h5>\n
It provides solutions to high unemployment rate, lack of educated and trained workforce, low business growth. The park produces humar resources that are more effective and acceptable to the industry, that can grow their own businesses, that can further set up training centers.\"\"<\/h5>\n
The park has 3 work clustors and 9 work sectors.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
1- Manufacturing Cluster: Mechanical and manufacturing sector, Welding sector (general and under water), Automation sector<\/h5>\n
2- Technopreneurship Cluster: Information Technology sector, Entrepreneurship sector (MSMEs and Startups), Gaming and E-Sports sector<\/h5>\n
3-Creative Industry Cluster: Performin Arts – Broadcast sector, Batik – handicraft sector, Culinary sector<\/h5>\n
The park is for developing a sustaibable work ecosystem, empowering local entities, encouraging strategic collaboration with industries.<\/h5>\n
The park’s achievements are enourmous so far that indicate the industry is getting what it needs from this training center. From July 2021 to Dec 2022 , the park recieved sponsorship funds of more than 155 Billion IDR.\"\"<\/h5>\n
About 100 business partners from the industry and business joined the programs of the park. The amount and number of partners is increasing .<\/h5>\n
The park has worked for strategic project development with oil gas skills center of Indonesia, National Cyber Security Hub, Digital Technopark – Bank Mandiri, Shopee Creative and Innovation Hub and others.<\/h5>\n
Pakistan has also established technical and vocational centers at different levels under different arrangments that are working on the same pattern as Solo Technopark is doing. This is a big potential sector for both countries to evelove a collaboration and benefit from mutual experiences.<\/h5>\n
