People of all ages, women, children, students from schools and colleges in groups, businessmen, industrialists, entrepreneurs and foreign community living in the capital city regularly visited the Mela adding to the hustle and bustle of the festival. This year the Mela truely showed the scene of &#8220;Jungle me Mangle&#8221; that is Urdu saying for festivity in the forest.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5>This scribe visited the Mela and observed the participation of the public from early hours to the evening. Director Museum of Lok Virsa, Mr. Anwar ul Haqq shared his views in this regard. He said that folk artists and craftsmen of handicrafts from all nooks and corners of the country have been facilitated to express themselves and display their products in the festival. The Mela is offering diversified activities for the visitors that has enhanced the attraction for the public especially for the youth.<\/h5>\n<h5>&#8221; One of our aims in this year is to introduce our folk culture and traditions to our youth so that they may be able to know the heritage of their country, He said.<\/h5>\n<h5>Anwar ul Haqq is looking after the arrangements of the Mela as Director Administration. The fesitval provides a connectivity between the small cottege industry and the customer. It helps to grow the handicrafts market in the big cities. The main attraction of the festival are artisans-at-work exhibition, folkloric performances, song and dance ensembles, traditional cuisine, arts &amp; craft bazaar and many other activities.<\/h5>\n<h5>He said that the Mela helps to keep all the units of the federation culturally connected with each other. This festival promotes national unity and solidarity between the federation and the provinces. The festival also provides an opportunity for skilled artisans and craftsmen from across the country to showcase their art at the national level. During this festival, artisans can sell their products directly to the public without any agent and get their fair wages.<\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Anwar ul Haqq shared , &#8221; We arranged the participation of more than 500 skilled artisans and artists from across the country.
