Federal Minister Information Gov of Pakistan, Mr. Murtaza Solangi has reiterated the keenness of Pakistan to enhance bilateral cooperation with Republic of Poland in all spheres of life. He spoke highly about the contribution of Poland in the building and maintaining of bilateral relations in last 6 decades. He expressed hope that both countries will soon take the mutual ties in trade, technology, agriculture, energy and other fields to new and remarkable level.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
Minister noted this in his address as chief guest at a reception hosted by Ambassador H.E Maciej Pisarski and Defense Attache Col. Bogdan Obuchowski to To commemorate this momentous occasion, Independence Day and Armed Forces Day of their great country. A mini Jazz recital was also part of the event that enthralled the guests and received huge applaud from them.\"\"<\/h5>\n
In 1918, Marshal J\u00f3zef Pi\u0142sudski sent out a diplomatic cable to world leaders notifying the rebirth of Poland as a sovereign and independent state. Since then Poland has always played a constructive role at regional as well as international level for peace and justice in the world. Poland stood at right direction during Russian invasion of Ukraine. Poland helped countries including Pakistan to rescue their citizens and students from Ukraine during the Russian attacks. Poland calls upon Israel and Palestine for peaceful settlement of their issues without risking the lives of the civilians.<\/h5>\n
Air Commodore Wladyslaw Turowicz \u2013 a leader of the Polish pilots who came to Pakistan to creating Pakistani air forces.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
Minister Solangi also payed rich tributes to Polish Pilots who pioneered in establishment of Pakistan Air Force soon after the partition of sub continent Indo Pak. He said, ” Gov of Pakistan is constructing a memorial in the honor of the Polish Pilots at Bhara Kahu, near Islamabad.”<\/h5>\n
Murtaza Solangi, noting the growing bilateral trade as mentioned by the Ambassador as well, invited Polish investors to Pakistani energy, agriculture, tourism and defence production sectors convincing them about the welcoming policies of gov of Pakistan. He also mentioned Facilitation Council formed at Foreign Minister of Pakistan only to facilitate and support the foreign investment.<\/strong><\/span>\"\"<\/h5>\n
Ambassador H.E Maciej Pisarski, in his welcome address said, “Throughout this year, we have celebrated 60th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between Poland and Pakistan. We are just about to start seventh decade of our cooperation.As we take stock of our achievements, we can point to an upward trajectory of the trade between our countries, which is approaching 900 million USD and has a lot to do with the Pakistani exports taking advantage of the European Union’s generous GSP plus program.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Ambassador briefed the guests about investment made by Orlen\/PGNiG \u2013 Polish Oil and Gas Company , in exploration of tied gas deposits in Pakistan. The multi-hundred million projects have a big potential to grow. The Polish government fully supports the company\u2019s engagement in bringing indigenous Pakistani gas to the Pakistani consumers.<\/strong><\/h5>\n
Together with another Polish company \u2013 Exallo Drilling , PGNiG\/ Orlen are sponsors of our celebration today. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for their support.<\/h5>\n
Ambassador offered cooperation n the water sector: water purification and water management technologies. Such projects can address some of the challenges of the adverse effects of the climate change.<\/h5>\n

On Israel – Palestine, Ambassador expressed hope that the two states will be able to live in peace and freedom in their respective states and thus enjoy the inalienable rights of all human beings. We stress that civilian lives must be protected.<\/h5>\n
On Russia Ukraine, Ambassador reiterated Poland’s solidarity with Ukraine, as was done in the last year’s event as well. H.E said, “We strongly stand with Ukraine from the outset of this brutal aggression are still there. They are equally valid today as they were yesterday and they will be in weeks and months to come.”<\/h5>\n
“The Ukrainian fight is about asserting freedom and dignity. It is about upholding the rules of the international law such: Sovereignty and territorial integrity. Let us not forget that Ukraine did not attack Russia, did not target civilians and did not provoke the aggression.<\/h5>\n
Let it be no doubt that our resolve is to continue our support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people. We welcome the acknowledgment that Ukrainian’s future is within the European Union and we whole heartedly support achieving this historic goal, Ambassador H.E Maciej Pisarski concluded.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
