Islamabad, Pakistan;After handing over of the 25 school campuses by the Government of\u00a0Pakistan to the Turkish Maarif Foundation in January, the country office organized its first\u00a0National Inter-School Mathematics Olympiad Prize Distribution Ceremony. The ceremony was\u00a0witnessed by the Turkish Ambassador, President Turkish Maarif Foundation, Country Director\u00a0Turkish Maarif Foundation Pakistan along with prestigious Turkish guests.<\/p>\n

The event was organized to distribute awards and cash prizes among winners from Inter-School\u00a0Mathematics Olympiad and Board Examinations. Students were given cash prizes ranging from\u00a0PKR 25 to 100 thousand. Around 600 private and government schools had participated from\u00a0across Pakistan. A student \u201cAli Rohan\u201d due to his intellectual excellence was given title of \u201cAlKhwarizmi\u00a0of Pakistan\u201d among all students along with a cash prize.<\/p>\n

\nHis Excellency Mr. Ambassador shared his enthusiasm and congratulated the team of the\u00a0Turkish Maarif Foundation and Pak Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges for holding\u00a0the first National level event. He also ascertained the responsibility bestowed on him to guard the\u00a0interests of the direct beneficiaries of the educational system.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Birol Akhgun, the president of the Turkish Maarif Foundation said that on behalf of the\u00a0Foundation and the Turkish mission, it is a happy day that we are celebrating with the parents of\u00a0our students. It is an honor to host and celebrate the performances of the students coming for\u00a0different schools from all over Pakistan.<\/p>\n

He said that the ambitions of the Turkish Maarif\u00a0Foundation Pakistan are deeply rooted in the relationship between the two countries and will be\u00a0playing its role as a bridge of opportunities in education. It is our mission to invest in the future\u00a0of the potential students in Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The TMF Country Office is targeting virtuous programs for\u00a0Pakistan. It includes purpose-built school\/college campuses, Research and Technical Resource Centers and providing affordable quality education with all allied academic services of\u00a0international standards. This is accumulating as the prospect of the biggest partnership in\u00a0education in the history of the relationship between the two countries.<\/p>\n

To compete with the developed countries, the foundation has taken the course of mobilizing\u00a0partnerships in brotherly countries and target advancements in science, technology and\u00a0education. For the purpose proficient academicians will be engaged to assure maximized impact\u00a0of the foundation.
\nHe declared that the teaching staff will be incentivized to work whole heartedly.<\/p>\n
