Light to moderate Rain-wind \/ thunderstorm (snowfall over hills) is expected in GB, Kashmir and Pothohar region<\/h5>\n<h5>Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country<br \/>\n8th March to 10th March<\/h5>\n<h5>Cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country, with rainfall in isolated places in Central and Southern Punjab while moderate snowfall is expected in northern parts of Pakistan<br \/>\n10th March to 12th March<\/h5>\n<h5>Rain-wind \/ thunderstorm is expected in southern and northern parts of Balochistan i.e. Ketch, Gwadar, Lasbella, Quetta, Kalat and Khuzdar<\/h5>\n<h5>Rain-wind \/ thunderstorm is expected in western \/ upper parts of KPand Kashmir. Dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country<\/h5>\n<h5><em><strong>Possible Impacts<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Landslide:<\/strong> Likely Landslides in Upper KP, Murree, Galiyat, Kashmir and GB may occur in the vulnerable points of the area &#8211; Tourists are advised not to travel unnecessarily<\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Snowfall:<\/strong> Moderate to Heavy snowfall is expected in Northern Parts of KP i.e. Shangla, Malam Jabba, Dir Upper, Chitral, Gilgit Baltistan, AJ&amp;K and some parts of Balochistan &#8211; Snowfall may cause temporary closure of roads<\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Urban and Flash Flooding:<\/strong> Likely flash flooding is expected in streams and nullah\u2019s of upper catchment areas i.e. Swat, Upper Dir, Upper Kohistan, Chitral, Hunza and Quetta, Chagai and Kech in Balochistan<\/h5>\n<h5>Moderate rainfalls is also likely to create urban flooding in Gwadar, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Kalat and Killa Abdullah<\/h5>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD &#8211; 5 March to 7 March: A weak westerly wave is prevailing over Balochistan and likely to extends on upper parts from 6th March Light to moderate rain is expected in western parts of Balochistan.
