President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President Ilham Aliyev held extensive talks in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. President Takayev arrived here on 11 March on the invitation of President Ilham.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">Both leaders have discussed issues of trade, economic, transit, transport, energy, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as interaction in the areas of digitalization, food security, and renewable energy sources. There was complete consensus among the two leaders to take the bilateral ties to new heights in the coming years.<\/h5>\n<h5>President Tokayev is admirer of the development Azerbaijan has achieved during last few years. Kazakhstan is partner of Azerbaijan in many joint ventures including infrastructure development in newly liberated territories of Karabakh.<\/h5>\n<h5>President Tokayev, only a day before his departure to Baku said, &#8220;Kazakhstan is interested in the soonest conclusion of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.<\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><em><strong>In an interview with the Azerbaijani news agency &#8220;Trends&#8221; , the President expressed his country\u2019s eagerness to facilitate the swift conclusion of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He\u00a0 visited Baku in Aug 2022 and announced the construction of the Kurmangazy Center for Children\u2019s Creative Development in Fuzuli as a gift from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan. He emphasized that this center would symbolize the strong bond of friendship and mutual support between the two nations. During ongoing visit, the President is expected to inaugurate the Center.<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n<h5>Moreover , A Kazakh Company will build a Central District Hospital in Fuzuli. This speaks a lot about the collaborative projects both countries can start in the future. The spirit is high\u00a0 and the desire of multifaceted mutual cooperation is reciprocal at both sides.<\/h5>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">The Head of our State congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his convincing victory in the elections of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and on the upcoming holding of the COP-29 summit in Baku in 2024.<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"x193iq5w xeuugli x13faqbe x1vvkbs x1xmvt09 x1lliihq x1s928wv xhkezso x1gmr53x x1cpjm7i x1fgarty x1943h6x xudqn12 x3x7a5m x6prxxf xvq8zen xo1l8bm xzsf02u x1yc453h\" dir=\"auto\">Earlier, at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Head of our state was received by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Yagub Eyubov, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Samir Sharifov.<\/span><\/h5>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">The official welcoming ceremony of the President of Kazakhstan took place at the Residence.The head of the honor guard gave a report to the leaders of the two countries. After the performance of the national anthems of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Ilham Aliyev introduced each other to the members of the official delegations. In addition, the prospects for the implementation of breakthrough investment projects, which will become new points of growth for the economies of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, were considered.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<h5>Kazakhstan is supporting the rejuvenation of Karabakh and favor the importance of collective efforts in promoting its development. President Tokayev emphasizes that the revitalization of the region\u2019s infrastructure would not only benefit Azerbaijan but also contribute to the broader South Caucasus region\u2019s progress.<\/h5>\n<h5>President Tokayev said in his interview, &#8221; Kazakhstan\u2019s readiness to support any initiatives aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the Eurasian region.
