\"\"The esteemed Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Husein ef Kavazovic, Rais- ul-Ulema\u00a0 is visited Pakistan for the second time to strengthen the bilateral relations in different sectors including Islamic education and scholarly interactions between two brotherly countries.He had meetings with a number of government and academia officials while the GoP conferred him the high civil award Sitare e Quaid e Azam Award on March 23rd,\u00a0 by the President of Pakistan. His latest visit has added to already present cordial relations and cooperation between Bosnia and Pakistan.<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n
Earlier ,he visited in Dec 2016. He had meetings with related officials, especially the then\u00a0 Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.He apprised the prime minister about his centre working for inter-faith harmony. The need for a strengthening Muslim brotherhood and fraternity was discussed during the meeting.\"\"<\/h5>\n
President of Pakistan , Asif Ali Zardari presented the dignitary the civil award of Pakistan in appreciation and recognition of his services to cement the mutual bonds. He received the award in a ceremony in Presidency of Pakistan. Ambassador Mr. Emin Cohodarevic was also present at this occasion.<\/h5>\n
Dr. Husein ef Kavazovic, during his other engagements called on the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain at the Ministry on 21 March 2024. Ambassador Mr. Emin Cohodarevic and the Honorary Consul General of Bosnia Mr Asad Saleem accompanied him.Federal Secretary Overseas Pakistanis Dr Arshad and other and senior officers from the Ministry were also present in the meeting.<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n
\u00a0Minister\u00a0 Salik\u00a0 extended a warm welcome to the Grand Mufti and underscored the Ministry\u2019s substantial potential for public service delivery and articulated his commitment to enhancing the performance of its seven attached departments<\/h5>\n

Grand Mufti met Secretary Religious Affairs Dr. Syed Atta ur Rehman in Islamabad on 22 March 2024. The Secretary shared that Pakistan is ready to sign MoUs with Bosnia for furtherance of bilateral cooperation.They agreed to work together for promotion of peace, education, religious harmony and elimination of Islamophobia.<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n

The Secretary said Pakistan is ready to sign Memorandums of Understandings with Bosnia for furtherance of religious education, translation of important books, exchange of delegations and bilateral cooperation.He said exchange of delegations at the government and public level will strengthen bilateral ties.<\/h5>\n
The Grand Mufti expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its peacekeeping services and UN humanitarian missions in Bosnia.He said the two countries have a strong bond and several key position holders in Bosnia have received education from Pakistan.\"\"<\/h5>\n
The Grand Mufti also extended wishes of Ramadan and Independence Day to Pakistani brethren.He was presented English translations of Fatwa “Message Pakistan” and Khutbat-e-Qaumi Sirat-ul-Nabi Conference.<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Dr. Husein ef Kavazovic offered Friday prayer at the Faisal Masjid Islamabad where he prayed for the stability of the Islamic world, the progress of Pakistan and Muslims of Gaza that May Allah end their hardships. He also expressed appreciation for the deep bonds of friendship between the peoples of Bosnia and Pakistan.<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n
