\"\"ISLAMABAD: 05 April 2024 – Ambassador of Syria to Pakistan, Dr Ramez Alraee, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people in their enduring struggle for justice, freedom and self determination has said ” The struggle continues for the liberation of all occupied Arab land including Al Quds Sharif and Golan.”<\/strong><\/h5>\n
He was addressing to the participants at Iftar in connection with Al-Quds Day in Islamabad. The event was hosted by Embassy of Iran in Pakistan as their tradition every years. Ambassador of Iran, H.E. Reza Amiri Moghadam was also present.<\/h5>\n
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Federal Minister for Housing and Works Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Senator Raja Zafar ul Haq, MNA Allama Raja Nisr Abbas, President of Tehreek e Jaffria Allama Sajid Naqvi, Special Representative of PM on interfaith and religious harmony Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi, Mian Aslam of Jamat e Islami and many other notables also attended the event.<\/h5>\n
Dr Ramez Alraee, in his address noted, “The difficulties and sufferings of the Palestinian people is not just a regional concern. It is a global humanitarian issue that calls for immediate action and solidarity from international community, especially in the back ground of ongoing genocide of Palestinian in Gaza by Israel.”<\/h5>\n
Ambassador said, for decades , we have faced illegal terrorist aggression of Israel yet resilience and determination of the Palestinian people to reclaim their rights and land remain unwavering.<\/h5>\n
“Syrian government and Syrian people understand the extent of the suffering of the Palestinian people and the longing for freedom. We have witnessed the devastating consequences of continued Israeli occupation on Arab lands and the importance of standing up against injustice. Therefore , we stand firmly with our Palestinian brother and sister in their quest for dignity and sovereignty, Dr Ramez Alraee shared.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
He said, on this Al-Quds Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and call for an end to the illegal occupation of Palestinian lands and all other occupied Arab lands including Golan. Syria continues to advocate for a just and comprehensive resolution for all occupied Arab land including Golan in accordance with UN resolutions 242, 338 and 497.<\/h5>\n
“On this occasion, we condemn the recent aggression of Israel against Syria, especially the bombing of Iranian consulate in Damascus, which is against all international laws and violation of Vienna Convention, Syrian Envoy emphasized.<\/h5>\n
Ambassador appreciated the support of Iran and Pakistan for their support to Palestine and all occupied Arab lands. He thanked all countries that stand against such terrorism and support the just cause of the liberation of all occupied Arab lands.<\/h5>\n
“Recognizing the importance of international diplomacy, the Ambassador called upon the international community to enforce the implementation of relevant international resolutions and to approach this issue with impartiality, fairness and a with a commitment to uphold international law, Dr Ramez Alraee concluded.<\/strong><\/h5>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
