He said that it is vital for Pakistan&#8217;s socio economic development and expanding energy requirements that safe, reliable and clean energy supplies are secured which are also relatively cheaper. It is precisely because of this reason that the Govt is encouraging investment in the Oil and Gas sector , said Mr Khan.<\/p>\n<p>He further added that provision of cheap, environmentally friendly and quality fuel products is a priority of the present Govt. The Federal Minister told the visiting delegation that major E and P players are investing in Pakistan&#8217;s transport, industrial and power sectors and are also setting up refineries.<\/p>\n<p>He further added that the Govt would offer new blocks to Oil and Gas exploration companies. The bidding process would be transparent and offer equal opportunities to potential investors.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister highlighted some of the key aspects of Pakistan&#8217;s Oil and Gas market including a robust Oil and Gas infrastructure spanning 18500 Kilometres which offers millions of end consumers to any potential investor as well as bright prospects in Off shore drilling.
