Acting Mission Director James Fleming, along with Dr. Tahir Masood, the Chairman of Islamabad Electric Supply Company\u2019s Board of Directors, distributed certificates to engineering graduates from universities at the ceremony.<\/h5>\n<h5>As part of its Power Sector Improvement Activity, USAID launched the \u201cEmpower All Energy Program\u201d in 2023 to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in Pakistan\u2019s energy sector. Already the program is bearing results.<\/h5>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"kmVxxqdeOL\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/usaid-empowers-female-engineers-in-energy-sector-through-innovative-training-program\/\">USAID Empowers Female Engineers in Energy Sector through Innovative Training Program<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;USAID Empowers Female Engineers in Energy Sector through Innovative Training Program&#8221; &#8212; Pakistan In the World\" src=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/usaid-empowers-female-engineers-in-energy-sector-through-innovative-training-program\/embed\/#?secret=Pp7gT6jIov#?secret=kmVxxqdeOL\" data-secret=\"kmVxxqdeOL\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h5>Among the first cohort of 20 graduates from 2023, more than 60 percent of the participants secured jobs and internships in the public and private energy sectors.<\/h5>\n<h5>Reflecting on the power of inclusion in fighting climate change, Acting Mission Director James Fleming said: \u201cTo address the world\u2019s climate crisis, we need to harness the talents of everyone.
