The investors were assured\u00a0 to invest their monies in profitable schemes, alluring them of monthly returns on their investments. When they approached the concerned companies for returns or reimbursement of their amounts, the companies rejected their claims.<\/h5>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"DQbZNtekcB\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/president-directs-faysal-bank-to-refund-defrauded-money-to-senior-citizen\/\">President directs Faysal Bank to refund defrauded money to senior citizen<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;President directs Faysal Bank to refund defrauded money to senior citizen&#8221; &#8212; Pakistan In the World\" src=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/president-directs-faysal-bank-to-refund-defrauded-money-to-senior-citizen\/embed\/#?secret=LjMmsMNndO#?secret=DQbZNtekcB\" data-secret=\"DQbZNtekcB\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h5>In other cases, EFU Life Assurance Limited repudiated the Death Claims filed by the family members of late Ali Haider, Shaikh Ali Hassan, Chand Ali, and Ali Akbar.<\/h5>\n<h5>Feeling aggrieved, the complainants separately approached the Federal Insurance Ombudsman (FIO) for the redressal of their complaints. The Ombudsman, after hearing their cases, directed the companies to pay a total of Rs 15.2 million to the complainants.<\/h5>\n<h5>Later, the insurance companies filed separate representations against the decisions of FIO before the President of Pakistan.
