Mental disorders which are commonly found worldwide are: Schizophrenia, Bipolar Depression, Unipolar Depression, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders, and Substance Dependency.\u00a0 The main issue is to encourage people enough to talk about it and accept it as any other disease and feel no shame in getting help. Mental health issues are always considered as taboo and not much talked about regardless of socio-economic conditions, which has eventually caused an extravagant increase in the issue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On this occasion, CFMH\u00a0Founder &amp; Chairperson\u00a0Ms. Ghazala Afzal Hameed said \u201cnow it is the high time to create awareness regarding the mental healthcare among the masses and also to educate them about its treatments and medication. The biggest challenge in this regard is to change the mindset and preconceived notions of people related to mental healthcare and treatment.n 2015, there were only 380 trained psychiatrists in Pakistan which mean 1 psychiatrist for 500,000 people, whereas Government devotes only 0.4% of their budget on mental healthcare which is alarming and not suffice.
