Both sides discussed matters of mutual interests regarding enhanced cooperation in trade &amp; energy sector and parliamentary diplomacy.<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">While expressing Pakistan Government\u2019s desire to strengthen relations with Algeria in various fields, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq highlighted the need to increase bilateral cooperation in the trade and other socio-economic sectors especially energy sector.<\/h5>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">The speaker\u00a0 noting Pakistan\u2019s commitment towards its \u201cLook Africa\u201d policy, said that Algeria is an important country of North Africa and Pakistan considers Algeria as an important partner in the implementation of this policy.<\/h5>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"ALGERIA IMPORTANT PARTNER IN LOOK AFRICA POLICY OF PAKISTAN - SPEAKER WELCOMES AMBASSADOR\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nnE-TJ1Evmk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">Ambassador Brahim Romani suggested to activate Pakistan-Algeria Friendship Group (PFG) in the Parliament of Pakistan. He also stressed the need of consolidation of coordination between the Parliaments of two countries on international level.<\/h5>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">The Speaker welcomed and agreed to the suggestions of the Ambassador. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq\u00a0 emphasized the need to increase people-to-people contacts along with parliamentary cooperation through the Pak-Algeria Friendship Group (PFG).<\/h5>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">NA Speaker deplored the severe human rights violations in Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu &amp; Kashmir (IIOJK) and the stressed upon the international community to play its due role to end the aggression in Palestine and IIOJK.<\/h5>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">Ambassador Brahim Romani said that Algeria government wanted to further solidify the existing bilateral relations through enhanced parliamentary and economic cooperation.
