He termed the mutual bonds as multifaceted and deep rooted in the history with shared heritage and culture especially Buddhist and Gandhara civilizations.<\/h5>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">He said this in his speech as chief guest at the National Day celebration by Embassy of Thailand in Islamabad at Serena Hotels. Ms Kamolwan Sriposil, Charge d Affaires hosted a grand reception to mark the day that is also the Father&#8217;s Day in Thailand. Thailand\u2019s <strong>Ambassador-designate Rongvudhi Virabutr<\/strong> was also present at the occasion. The artists were specially called for the stage performances that enthralled the audience and received huge applause.<\/h5>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">Heads of ASEAN countries, high officials of civil and military services, members of parliament of Pakistan, civil society, business community and media representatives attended the celebration in large number.<\/h5>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\"><strong>Ms. Kamolwan Sriposil, Charge d Affaires,<\/strong> in her welcome remarks shed light on the day with special reference to the World Soil Day celebrated in Thailand. It was introduced by King Rama IX of Thailand in the 1970s as an alternative to mainstream development. The SEP is based on the principles of Theravada Buddhism and the idea that sustainable development can be achieved by integrating the physical, social, and spiritual dimensions of rural communities.)<\/em><\/h5>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">The Charge d Affaires welcoming and introducing the Ambassador said that under the leadership of Rongvudhi Birabutr, the embassy was committed to taking Pakistan-Thailand relations to the next level.<\/h5>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">She expressed resolve to take the bilateral cooperation to the next level in coming days. She said,&#8221; We are celebrating 73 years of diplomatic relations but our historical ties date back 2,000 years to the Gandhara civilization.&#8221;<\/h5>\n<h5 dir=\"auto\">Ms. Kamolwan Sriposil spoke highly on mutual cooperation, With ongoing negotiations on free trade agreement.
