The work has been abandoned there too for last many days.<\/h5>\n<h5>The Jamia Masjid of the market is also waiting for the finishing for last many weeks. Local traders face difficulties due to building material fixed on the walls and in the way. The work started about 4 months ago but could not be completed so far. Actually , even as less as 25 % of the work has not been completed. The market is presenting a dilapidated look and there is no hope of completion in the near future.<\/h5>\n<h5>This scribe is everyday visitor of this market and see the work with his own eyes and talk with the local traders on the development of the work. The work was smooth and fast until the end of November. But there is a bread since last week. The only reason , the local traders share is the financiers are angry on the quality of work. Azerbaijani experts visit the market but no one knows about who they belong to? They are posted here from which authority of Azerbaijan. Capital Development Authority of Islamabad , gov of Pakistan even is not on the front.<\/h5>\n<h5>This state of affairs raised the question that how a big amount mentioned above is being managed and spent when no official or gov authority is looking after the work? It was only on 04 Dec 2024, after 4 months of the work, that CDA and Azerbaijan Embassy met on this project and CDA shared the details. Here it was revealed that it is not about Melody only but Saidpur Model Village and Srinagar Highway are also the projects with Azerbaijani assistance.<\/h5>\n<h5>CDA press release said that the work the work\u00a0 of Saidpur Model Village and Melody Market will be completed by the spring, while beautification work on Srinagar Highway will also be completed soon. All showed as if they do not know anything and have nothing to do with the project. This created ambiguity only.<\/h5>\n<h5>The meeting of Chairman CDA and Azerbaijan Embassy and appointment of\u00a0 focal persons from both CDA and Baku experts is good step to ensure the successful and timely completion of the beautification work. Few days ago, the work on National Bank wall and Food Park site was stopped for substandard work and no development has been observed for last many days in the work.
