Environmental Coordination (MoCC), Romina Khurshid Alam emphasized the urgent need for robust climate action in a seminar on &#8220;COP 29 commitments to COP 30 action: A critical analysis,&#8221; held at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Her remarks followed the findings of the global stocktake and the intergovernmental panel on climate change\u2019s sixth assessment report, which highlighted that the world has failed to meet the Paris Agreement goal of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Romina underscored Pakistan\u2019s significant contributions at COP29, particularly in technical negotiations and bilateral engagements, positioning the country as a leader in global climate discussions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"45q52gZhpz\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/a-look-at-the-key-outcomes-of-cop29\/\">A Look at the Key Outcomes of COP29<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute;
