\u201cBelgium deems the Moroccan Autonomy Initiative, presented in 2007, to be a serious and credible effort by Morocco and a very good basis for a solution accepted by all parties\u201d, Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, Foreign Trade and Cultural Institutions Bernard Quintin said during a press briefing following his talks, on Wednesday in Rabat, with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita.<\/p>\n<p>Talks with Bourita \u201chelped me understand the ins and outs of the autonomy plan and realize the existential nature of this issue for Morocco\u201d, the Belgian minister underlined, adding that \u201cwe know how important of an issue this is for Morocco\u201d.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"egV0IXPYVY\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/liberia-and-cote-divoire-reiterate-constant-position-on-moroccos-territorial-integrity-sovereignty\/\">Liberia and C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire Reiterate Constant Position on Morocco\u2019s Territorial Integrity &#038; Sovereignty&#8221; &#8212; Pakistan In the World\" src=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/liberia-and-cote-divoire-reiterate-constant-position-on-moroccos-territorial-integrity-sovereignty\/embed\/#?secret=7yl0NACio5#?secret=egV0IXPYVY\" data-secret=\"egV0IXPYVY\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome prominent European and international partners have changed their position\u201d, he said, noting that Morocco and Belgium &#8220;will continue to engage constructively on this subject.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Belgium \u201cfully supports the UN process for a just, lasting, and mutually acceptable political solution\u201d and \u201crecalls the UN\u2019s exclusive role in the political process,\u201d Quintin said.<\/p>\n<p>He also reiterated Belgium\u2019s backing for \u201cUN Security Council Resolution 2703, which underscores the role and responsibility of the parties in seeking a realistic, pragmatic, and enduring political solution based on compromise\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Belgium\u2019s constructive stance aligns with the international momentum driven by the King Mohammed VI, in support of Morocco\u2019s sovereignty over its Sahara and the Autonomy Plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"NTCNszeDVr\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/pakistan-in-the-world-january-2024\/\">Pakistan in the World \u2013 January 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute;
