His engagements focused on enhancing bilateral trade, investment, and industrial collaboration between Pakistan and Oman.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Minister began his day with a visit to Sohar Port and Free Zone from where he was received by H.E. Mohammad Al Shizawi, CEO of Sohar Freezone and Vice President of Sohar Port, along with senior officials Mr. Ahmed Al Hosni and Mr. Ali Al Yamani.<\/p>\n<p>Accompanied by Ambassador H.E. Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari and Counsellor Commercial Mr. Ishrat Hussain Bhatti, the Minister was given a detailed briefing on the port\u2019s state-of-the-art facilities and its role as a major trade and logistics hub.<\/p>\n<p>A presentation was also delivered on the integrated free economic zone and industrial city, highlighting the strategic importance of Sohar, which handles 80% of Oman\u2019s international trade and industrial activities.<\/p>\n<p>Following the briefing, Minister Jam was taken on a guided tour of the port\u2019s various industrial clusters and key sectors.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-43528\" src=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-03-11-at-6.43.52-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"263\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-03-11-at-6.43.52-PM.jpg 600w, https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-03-11-at-6.43.52-PM-300x132.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>During discussions with Omani officials, he emphasized the potential for enhanced trade cooperation, particularly in expanding Sohar Port and Free Zone\u2019s reach through Pakistan to Central Asia and China.<\/p>\n<p>He also highlighted key sectors for joint ventures and investment opportunities between Pakistani and Omani businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Later the Minister proceeded to the Governor\u2019s Office of North Al Batinah Province, where he was received by H.E. Muhammad bin Sulaiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah, and Engr.
