Karachi: March 13, 2025 – PIA spokesperson issues clarification on the pk 306 incident. PK 306 departed from Karachi to Lahore and made a smooth and uneventful landing at Lahore as per the schedule.<\/p>\n

Passengers and their baggage was disembarked as per regular routine. However, on the walk-around inspection by the captain, it was revealed that one out of the six-wheel assemblies on the main landing gear (backward) is missing.<\/p>\n

As per the standard flight practices the matter was taken up by PIA flight safety and AAIB teams, whom are in the process of investigating the matter and submitting their report.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that the aircraft is designed looking at these contingencies and that at no point there was any risk posed to the equipment and to the passengers, the spokesman concluded.<\/p>\n
