All-round and historic progress has been made in human rights cause in southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region, according to a white paper released on Friday by the concerned officials, Xinhua shared from LHASA, capital city of the region on 28 March 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The document, titled “Human Rights in Xizang in the New Era,” was released by the State Council Information Office at a press conference held in Lhasa, capital city of the region.<\/p>\n

This region is mostly known as Tibet and it is adjacent to Xinjiang province that shares border with Gilgit Baltistan region under the administration of Pakistan. India supports conflicts in Tibet and is home to exiled Dalai Lama of this region. Pakistan is also a victim of Indian cross border proxy.<\/em><\/p>\n

Editor Pakistan in the World Mr. Tazeen Akhtar , first , published a report in 1993, on Dalai Lama and Indian hand in disturbances in Tibet, educating Pakistani readers about the Indian conspiracies and interventions across international borders.<\/p>\n

\"\"Xinhua report further shares, the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Chinese government have implemented effective measures to develop the economy, improve living standards and people’s wellbeing, promote ethnic unity and progress, and protect the basic rights of all the people in the region, it said.<\/p>\n

Since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012, respecting and protecting human rights has been made an important part of the Party Central Committee’s guidelines for the governance of the region, according to the document.<\/p>\n
