He assured investors and partners of robust security measures to safeguard their interests.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2025 (PMIF25) at the Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad on Tuesday, the Army Chief stated that Pakistan welcomes international institutions to introduce their expertise, explore investment opportunities, and partner with the country in developing its vast resource potential.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Pakistan | Mineral | Investment | Forum | 2025 | Sponsored by BARRICK | OGDCL | FWO\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/79OvPm7izgU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"461\">The conference, hosted by Pakistan, aims to attract global investment in the country\u2019s vast natural reserves, estimated to be worth $6 trillion. Delegates from the United States, China, Saudi Arabia, and companies including Barrick Gold and Woods Mackenzie are attending the two-day event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"751\">General Munir emphasized the country\u2019s commitment to protecting foreign investments, stating, \u201cPakistan\u2019s army will ensure a robust security framework, (and) proactive measures to protect the interests and trust of partners and investors. That is why students are being sent abroad for training to advance this sector.<\/p>\n<p>He mentioned that currently, 27 Pakistani students from Balochistan are receiving training in mineral exploration in Zambia and Argentina. The Army Chief underlined the importance of investing in refining and value addition in Pakistan to optimise costs and diversify markets.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He pointed out that with vast mineral reserves beneath the feet of the Pakistani people, skills in their hands and with a transparent mineral policy in place, there is no room for despair or inaction.<\/p>\n<p>He urged the people to move forward and strive for both their country and themselves, reaffirming that Pakistanis collectively assure their partners and investors that utilising their expertise for business and mineral wealth extraction is a national aspiration.
