16 July 2025 – another dark day – Karachi to Quetta bus attacked – many gunned down – gov telling 3 only – Nadeem Sabri and his team were in the bus ! he is elder brother of murdered qawwal Amjad Sabri – 3 of his team killed – there were 48 passengers ! Terrorists attacked with modern automatic machine guns and hand grenades.<\/div>\n

Inside the ill-fated bus, the blood-soaked bodies of the martyrs are scattered everywhere. This is second time in Balochistan that the victims are not Punjabis. First was firing at Army Public School bus in Khuzdar.<\/div>\n

The incident comes a week after at\u00a0least nine passengers\u00a0travelling on two Punjab-bound coaches were abducted and killed by unidentified armed men in the Sur-Dakai area, situated on the border between Balochistan\u2019s Zhob and Loralai districts.<\/p>\n

The Balochistan Liberation Front, a banned outfit, later claimed responsibility for the attack. A spokesman for the group said it had killed the nine individuals after blocking the highway between Musakhail-Makhtar and Khajuri.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to routine media reports , the gov spokesperson shared , Three people were killed and seven others were injured as a passenger bus was fired upon in Balochistan\u2019s Kalat.<\/p>\n

Eye witnesses narrate a scene that negates the gov number of the dead. The number is apprehended more than what the gov is telling.<\/p>\n

A statement from provincial spokesperson Shahid Rind said: \u201cThree passengers were martyred and seven were injured in the tragic incident\u201d when a shooting occurred on a passenger coach coming from Karachi to Quetta in Kalat\u2019s Nemargh area.<\/p>\n

He said the injured were being moved to the District Headquarters Hospital Kalat for treatment, adding that an emergency had been imposed at the facility. Meanwhile, an update from the EdhI Foundation rescue service put the number of injured at 10, saying they were taken to Civil Hospital Quetta for treatment.<\/p>\n

\u201cSecurity agencies, district administration and rescue teams have immediately reached the scene. Security forces have surrounded the area and a search operation is underway. Security forces are pursuing the attackers,\u201d Rind said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBased on initial info, terrorists were sitting in ambush, they stopped the bus and then attacked. We cannot confirm the number of terrorists, but it was carried out from both sides of the road,\u201d Rind said.<\/p>\n
