ISLAMABAD: 01 Aug 2025 \u2013 An international motorbike rally promoting regional tourism, peace, and cultural integration was held today at PTDC headquarters, Kohsar Secretariat, Islamabad. This unique initiative has been organized with the support of the Embassies of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in Pakistan.<\/p>\n

23-day motorbike rally organised by Globe Strainers will cover 5,000 km across Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, highlighting Pakistan\u2019s gateway role to Central Asia.<\/p>\n

On August 7, they will enter Uzbekistan via the \u201cHairatan\u201d border crossing, and visit Termez, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Tashkent, before continuing on to Tajikistan.<\/p>\n

In each city, the travelers will actively share their impressions on social media \u2014 highlighting Uzbekistan\u2019s beauty, safety, tourism infrastructure, and the genuine hospitality of its people.<\/p>\n

The rally led by Mr. Mukaram Tareen having 11 bikers, started its journey from Lahore on July 31 and will pass through Islamabad, Kabul, Dushanbe, Samarkand, Bukhara and Tashkent before returning to Pakistan on August 22, 2025.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The event was graced by:<\/p>\n

* Mr. Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan \u2013 Tourism Coordinator to the PM as Chief Guest.<\/strong><\/em>
\n* Mr. Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani \u2013 Secretary IPC<\/strong><\/em>
\n* H.E. Mr. Alisher Tukhtayev \u2013 Ambassador of Uzbekistan<\/strong><\/em>
\n* H.E. Mr. Saidjon Shafiev \u2013 Deputy Head of Mission, Tajikistan<\/strong><\/em>
\n* Mr. Aftab ur Rehman Rana \u2013 Managing Director, PTDC<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Souvenirs were presented to the head of the team and other esteemed guests by the MD PTDC.<\/p>\n

This initiative marks a major step in promoting regional cooperation, cultural exchange, friendship and peace through tourism.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Uzbekistan shared , ” On August 1, we officially launched the international motorbike rally \u201cCentral Asia Tour 2025\u201d in Islamabad, which will follow the route: Pakistan \u2013 Afghanistan \u2013 Uzbekistan \u2013 Tajikistan.”<\/strong><\/div>\n

\u00a0Ambassador emphasized that this rally is more than just a journey \u2014 it is a symbol of friendship, mutual understanding, and cultural connectivity among our nations.<\/p>\n

Special attention was given to Uzbekistan\u2019s rich tourism potential \u2014 its ancient cities, modern infrastructure, and warm hospitality, which has become a signature of our national identity on the global stage.<\/p>\n

DHM Tajikistan said, on this occasion, this is first Pakistani Motorbike Rally to Tajikistan.\u00a0 This step is being taken based on the agreements reached during the visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to Pakistan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“The Embassy welcomes this step and considers it important in attracting a wide range of tourists to the region. At the same time, it wishes the group of motorcyclists from the friendly country a pleasant and memorable trip, Saeedjon mentioned.<\/p>\n

The launch ceremony brought together motorbike enthusiasts, bloggers, tour operators, diplomats, and members of the public.<\/p><\/div>\n
