Pakistan enjoys cordial relations with Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea. Pakistan is ready to enhance cooperation in all sectors. Both countries can share experiences and work together for peace and prosperity in their respective countries and the regions.<\/p>\n

This was shared by Minister of State Bilal Akbar Kiani in his address at the reception hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Choe Chang Man, Ambassador of DPR Korea in Hotel Movenpick Islamabad on 05 Sep 2025.<\/p>\n

DPR Korea celebrates its 77th Founding Anniversary on 09 Sep. The Embassy kickstarted the celebrations by hosting a modest reception in which the Minister was chief guest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ambassador in his welcome address, shed light on the history of the auspcious day and expressed resolve to leave no stone unturned for the development and well being of his country. He mentioned the untired efforts of his national leader , President Kim Jong Un for the country and the people of the nation.<\/p>\n

Ambassador spoke highly about bilateral relations with Pakistan. He expressed keenness of DPR Korea to enhance mutual cooperation in every field having significant potential.<\/p>\n

\"\"The stage was decorated with the national flags of both countries. The national anthems of both states were played before the guests cut the ceremonial cake.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The reception was attended by Dean of Diplomatic Corp, Ambassador Turkmenistan H.E Atadjan Movlamov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan, H.E Kylychbek Sultan, Ambassador of Myanmar, H.E Wunna Han Ambassador of Russian Federation, H.E Albert P. Khorev, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka Rear Admiral R Fred Senevirathne, Ambassador of Uzbekistan, H.E Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of Zimbabwe H.E Titus M. J. Abu Basutu, Mr. and Mrs Andre from Belrus Embassy, Mr. and Mrs. Thang Truong from Vietnam Embassy, political representatives, businessmen and media persons.<\/p>\n

Mr. Shakil Ahmed of Shakil Express, Rana Sadaqat Ali President \/Chairman Pakistan ITF Taekwondo federation World Champion Gold Medalists and Chairman Pak DPR Korea business Association, Tariq Saleem , renown businessman of Islamabad were also among prominent guests.<\/p>\n

The embassy staff and spouses were taking care of all the guests that was appreciative. The guests were served a sumptuous dinner.<\/p>\n
