The Deputy Head of Mission of Chinese Embassy in Pakistan Shi Yuanqiang has said that China is now global power with friends around the world. 140 countries are trade partners of China. We have joint ventures with 150 countries. New international order will be according to international law.<\/p>\n

He said this in his keynote address at a reception held in Islamabad in connection with 74th anniversary of establishment of relations between Pakistan and China. The event was organized by Mian fazal Elahi , Chief Executive of magazine Diplomatic Focus in collaboration with Pak China Investment Company, National Institute of Maritime Affairs NIMA , Center of Pakistan and International Relations COPAIR and Fly Dubai.<\/p>\n

It was a well attended event where formers ambassadors of Pakistan in China, officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors of other countries in Islamabad, media persons were present. Prominent among them were Additional Secretary MOFA Hamid Asghar Khan, Ashraf Jahangir Qazi, Naila Chohan, Khalid Mehmood, Masood Khalid, Amna Malik, Commodor Raheel Masood R and many others.<\/p>\n

Mr. Song Zhenwen, Managing Director \/ Vice Chairman of the board of directors of Pak China Investment Company also graced the event with his presence.<\/p>\n

\"\"Mr. Shi, in his remarks, referred to the address of President Xi at SCO Summit about The Global Governance Initiative and said the governance based on justice is the need of the time for a better world. He said, ” Leaders of 20 states attended the summit that demonstrate new high quality and new vitality of our cooperation.”<\/p>\n

He shared the facts and figures about the development of Chinese economy and GDP. He said, ” President Xi , in his address to 18th CPC, enlightened us about the historical transformation of China from a poor country to a middle income country where 400 million people have come out of poverty. China has a huge system of education, health, social security. Life expectancy reached to 79 years.”<\/p>\n
