\"\"ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Embassy of Azerbaijan, hosted the launching ceremony of the book \u201cThe History of the Patriotic War: Personality Factor\u201d at the Parliament House.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deputy Speaker, National Assembly, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was attended by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, H.E. Khazar Farhadov; the Ambassador of T\u00fcrkiye, H.E. Irfan Neziroglu; Federal Ministers Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan, and Mr. Attaullah Tarar.<\/p>\n

Members of the Pak\u2013Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group; Convenor of the Parliamentary Taskforce on SDGs, Ms. Shaista Pervaiz; Parliamentary Secretary for Info & Broadcasting, Mr. Danyal Chaudhary, MNAs Mr. Fatehullah Khan, Dr. Mahesh Kumar Malani, Mr. Pullain Baloch & Mr. Muhammad Hafeez; foreign dignitaries; and senior officials of the National Assembly Secretariat and only a selected number of media persons were also present.<\/p>\n

Dean of diplomatic corp Islamabad , Ambassador Turkmenistan, Ambassadors of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Representative of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, DG ISSI, Amb Sohail Mehmood also attended the launch event.\"\"Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, lauded the time-tested brotherhood and exemplary relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, founded on shared faith, mutual respect, and cultural heritage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said that the Urdu translation of \u201cThe History of the Patriotic War: Personality Factor\u201d reflects the growing cultural and linguistic cooperation between the two brotherly nations.<\/p>\n

He praised the visionary leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, under whose guidance Azerbaijan has achieved remarkable progress in national development, economy, education, and diplomacy. He added that President Aliyev\u2019s leadership during the 44-day Patriotic War of 2020 stood as a symbol of courage, determination, and unity, inspiring the entire Muslim world.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Speaker remarked that Pakistan deeply admires the bravery and resilience of the Azerbaijani nation, which has always stood firm in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity.<\/p>\n

He reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s unwavering support for Azerbaijan\u2019s position on all regional and international platforms, emphasizing that both countries share a common vision for peace, prosperity, and regional stability.<\/p>\n

He appreciated the Embassy of Azerbaijan and the Pak\u2013Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group for their continued efforts to strengthen parliamentary and cultural linkages, expressing confidence that the unbreakable bond of faith, fraternity, and friendship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan would continue to grow in the years ahead.<\/p>\n

At the commencement of the ceremony, the Master of Ceremony, Ms. Rabia Basri,<\/strong> warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and introduced the publication. She stated that this publication stands as a beautiful symbol of the cultural and linguistic connection between the people of Pakistan and Azerbaijan, reflecting their shared values of brotherhood, mutual respect, and enduring friendship.<\/p>\n

Introducing the book, the co-moderator, Mr. Muhammad Saeed, shared that the book, jointly produced by the Baku City Executive Power and the Institute of History of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS),<\/strong> presents a powerful account of Azerbaijan\u2019s 44-day Patriotic War and the visionary leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.<\/p>\n

He added that the book has been translated into several languages, including Urdu, enabling readers from different regions\u2014particularly in Pakistan\u2014to connect with Azerbaijan\u2019s inspiring story of resilience, unity, and national revival.<\/p>\n

Ambassador of Azerbaijan, HE Khazar Farhadov<\/strong> said that the book presents a comprehensive account of Azerbaijan\u2019s glorious victory in the 44-day Patriotic War. He highlighted that the book vividly portrays the historic and dynamic leadership role of President Ilham Aliyev, whose vision and determination led Azerbaijan to success.<\/p>\n

He further stated that as a result of this war, the Nagorno-Karabakh region was liberated after decades of occupation. While expressing gratitude, he said that Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye extended unwavering support to Azerbaijan during the conflict.<\/p>\n

He added that the leadership and people of Azerbaijan hold deep affection and profound respect for Pakistan in their hearts. He also presented the Urdu edition of the book to the Deputy Speaker, National Assembly, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah.<\/p>\n

Ambassador of Turkiye , HE \u0130rfan Neziro\u011flu,<\/strong> said that the relations between Pakistan, T\u00fcrkiye, and Azerbaijan are a true reflection of brotherhood, solidarity, and shared values. He noted that the three brotherly nations have always stood by each other in times of difficulty and have demonstrated unwavering unity on every occasion.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Neziro\u011flu emphasized that Pakistan, T\u00fcrkiye, and Azerbaijan share common positions on regional and global issues and continue to cooperate closely for peace, stability, and development.
