Russia launched a massive overnight attack against Ukraine, killing a rescuer and 3 civilians and injuring at least 16 people.<\/p>\n

On October 25, during rescue operations in the Dnipro region, Russia struck the site again. A firefighter was killed when extinguishing a fire caused by a Russian attack. Another rescuer was injured. A civilian woman was also killed and seven more people were wounded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Russia also struck several districts of Kyiv. Two people were killed and at least nine more were injured. Kharkiv, Sumy, and other regions were also targeted.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one in the world wants this war to continue except Russia. Absurdly, this country currently presides over the UN Security Council in October 2025\u2013although its very presence at the UNSC is illegal. Russian terror can and should be stopped. Through collective action,\u201d Ukraine\u2019s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha<\/strong> has commented.<\/p>\n

He said, Every air defence system and every long-range capability supplied to Ukraine means saved lives and prevents new war crimes.<\/p>\n

In the Dnipro region, rescuers had just started putting out a fire when Russia struck the same site again. A firefighter was killed. Another rescuer and several civilians were wounded.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Russian drone killed one person and injured at least seven as it struck a kindergarten in Kharkiv. All children were evacuated and are now in shelters. Many show acute stress reactions.<\/p>\n

There is no possible justification for hitting a kindergarten. The strike came in the morning, October 22, after a night of mass attacks.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Each of these strikes means broken lives and shattered homes. Each air defence system and long-range capability sent to Ukraine means more lives saved \u2014 and fewer scenes like this one.<\/p>\n

\u201d There was a missile strike on Kyiv. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Dozens of people were injured. And almost every attack against our people now involves combined strikes using ballistic missiles, Zelenskyy noted.<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of this year alone, Russia has launched approximately 770 ballistic missiles and more than 50 Kinzhal missiles against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

He added, It is precisely because of such attacks that we pay special attention to Patriot systems\u2014to be able to protect our cities from this horror. It is critical that partners who possess relevant capability implement what we have discussed in recent days.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"President Ukraine said, No country should be left alone in the face of such evil. We must continue our cooperation. Everything is doable. Our partners have the necessary systems and they can already help defend Ukraine.<\/p>\n

\u201cAmerica, Europe, and the G7 countries can help ensure that such attacks no longer threaten lives. Russia\u2019s ballistic strikes must be met with a response from powerful nations in real cooperation to protect lives, Mr. Zelenskyy stressed.<\/p>\n

Zelensky: Coalition of the Willing Agrees on Stronger Sanctions Against Russia<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a meeting with international leaders has already taken place in London, with further sanctions against Russia agreed upon, following the framework set by the United States.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll, absolutely all, members of the Coalition of the Willing agreed that pressure must continue \u2014 targeting Russian oil, oil companies, terminals, the tanker fleet, and the entire infrastructure of the aggressor,\u201d Zelensky said.<\/p>\n

He added that while some details will remain confidential to complicate Putin\u2019s calculations, the effects of current sanctions are already visible: long queues at gas stations, regional bankruptcies, and deficits in the Russian federal budget.<\/p>\n

\u201cSanctions are one of the most painful tools for Putin \u2014 for him personally,\u201d Zelensky stressed, highlighting the growing economic pressure on Russia as the international community unites to support Ukraine.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
