The Kingdom of Eswatini Supports Autonomy Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-54327 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Morocco-Sahara-Autonomy-e1762162721799.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"304\" \/>RABAT : The Republic of Paraguay materialized, on Wednesday, its recognition of Morocco\u2019s sovereignty over the Sahara through the announcement of the opening of a Consulate General.<\/p>\n<p>During his meeting in Rabat with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Paraguay, Rub\u00e9n Ram\u00edrez Lezcano, reaffirmed his country\u2019s full support for Morocco\u2019s sovereignty over its Sahara and for the autonomy initiative presented by the Kingdom in 2007, considered as the only serious, credible and realistic basis for settling the regional dispute.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, the Paraguayan Foreign Minister announced his country\u2019s decision to soon open a Consulate General in the southern provinces, as a clear sign of support for the Kingdom\u2019s territorial integrity.<\/p>\n<p>This stance follows the withdrawal, in 2014, of Asunci\u00f3n\u2019s recognition of the puppet entity, as well as the series of joint statements and political consultations that have since consolidated Paraguay\u2019s support for Morocco\u2019s national cause.<\/p>\n<p>Paraguay\u2019s decision to open a Consulate General in the Kingdom\u2019s southern provinces constitutes a strong political act, illustrating the growing recognition, in Latin America, of Morocco\u2019s sovereignty over its southern provinces and the strength of the ties of friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Paraguay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Kingdom of Eswatini<\/strong> reaffirmed\u00a0 in Rabat its support for Morocco\u2019s autonomy plan as the &#8220;only credible, serious, and realistic solution&#8221; to the regional dispute.<\/p>\n<p>This position was reiterated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Eswatini, Pholile Dlamini Shakantu, on the sidelines of the first session of the Morocco\u2013Eswatini Joint Cooperation Commission, during talks with Morocco\u2019s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, which focused on the excellence of bilateral relations and ways to strengthen their multisectoral cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, the Eswatini Foreign Minister reaffirmed her country\u2019s consistent stance and expressed full support for Morocco\u2019s territorial integrity and sovereignty over its entire territory, including the Moroccan Sahara region.<\/p>\n<p>The Kingdom of Eswatini, which opened a Consulate General in Laayoune in October 2020, also reiterated its full support for the Moroccan Autonomy Plan as &#8220;the only credible, serious, and realistic solution&#8221; to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RABAT : The Republic of Paraguay materialized, on Wednesday, its recognition of Morocco\u2019s sovereignty over the Sahara through the announcement of the opening of a Consulate General.
