\"\"PESHAWAR : 14 Nov 2025 – Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has emphasized the need for joint efforts to address the challenges facing by the province and to project a positive and soft image of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the national and international levels.<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Governor expressed these views while addressing the Chief Executives of business entreprises at the Governor House Peshawar, where he joined as the chief guest on Friday. Additional Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs Amb Hamid Asghar Khan, Chairperson National Vocational and Technical Training Commission NAVTTC Ms Gulmina Bilal, President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce Usman Shaukat, Head of foreign relations at RCCI Zahid Latif Khan, U.S. Consul General in Peshawar Thomas Eckert also participated and addressed the guests.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Governor, in his keynote address, said the people of the province are highly talented and must be provided with greater opportunities to contribute to development and progress.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Finance Adviser of Gov of KP, Muzammil Aslam, Industrialists Association President Ayub Zakori, President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Junaid Altaf, and notable industrialist Adnan Afridi was also present at the occasion.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The event featured panel discussions and exchanges on business opportunities in various sectors in Pakistan, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.\"\"<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Speakers including U.S. Consul General Thomas Eckert, KP Finance Adviser Muzammil Aslam, Bank of Khyber Managing Director Hassan Raza, and Al-Baraka Bank Pakistan CEO Muhammad Atif Hanif also addressed the gathering and praised Governor Kundi for his support to the business community.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Governor Kundi hailed the activity as historic and encouraging steps toward promoting entrepreneurship in the province.<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Congratulating the organizer Mr. Ijaz Nisar for holding the summit in Peshawar, the Governor said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa offers tremendous investment potential in tourism, energy, technology, minerals, agriculture and infrastructure.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
He reaffirmed that the Governor House is fully committed to facilitating private-sector engagement and providing all possible support. He said that national and international delegates who previously attended conferences at the Governor House gained a firsthand understanding of the province\u2019s culture and historic sites, which helped reshape perceptions.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThose who continue doing business here despite challenges deserve our appreciation,\u201d he added.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Governor highlighted that KP leads the country in tourism potential, natural minerals, oil and gas reserves, and low-cost power generation. \u201cIn reality, the province is not behind in any sector,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Additional Secretary MOFA, Amb Hamid Asghar Khan<\/strong><\/em> appreciated the efforts of Governor KP for enhancing business opportunities in the province. He assured his full cooperation at the ministry for the businessmen community to facilitate them in increasing the trade and forging the joint ventures with international partners.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He briefed the cheif executives of the companies present there about the conducive policies the gov of Pakistan has evolved for promotion of exports and trade.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Governor Kundi presented shields to participating CEOs from various companies.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
