{"id":56009,"date":"2025-12-06T12:30:40","date_gmt":"2025-12-06T12:30:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/?p=56009"},"modified":"2025-12-06T12:30:40","modified_gmt":"2025-12-06T12:30:40","slug":"uzbekistan-pakistan-business-forum-in-karachi-a-new-stage-of-strategic-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/uzbekistan-pakistan-business-forum-in-karachi-a-new-stage-of-strategic-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"Uzbekistan\u2013Pakistan Business Forum in Karachi: A New Stage of Strategic Partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-56011\" src=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Uzbekistan-Pakistan-Forum-e1765024175426.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/>KARACHI : The Embassy of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with Pakistan\u2019s leading pharmaceutical company Getz Pharma, organized a large-scale business forum attended by over 150 representatives of the business communities of both countries.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0Mr. Khalid Mahmood, CEO of Getz Pharma, for his support, professionalism, and personal contribution to the successful organization of this event.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">During the forum, I presented to the participants the reforms being implemented under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the new tax and customs opportunities, the investment and industrial potential of our country, as well as promising avenues for cooperation in energy, petrochemicals, IT, healthcare, tourism, agriculture, and other key sectors.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">It was emphasized that thanks to the strong political will of the Leaders of our two nations, relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan have risen to the level of a strategic partnership, while trust and business activity between entrepreneurs are growing rapidly.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">On the sidelines of the forum:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Presentations were held on Uzbekistan\u2019s investment and business opportunities;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Productive B2B meetings took place;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">memorandums of cooperation were signed between interested companies of the two brotherly countries.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Several important agreements were also reached:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u2014 the organization of a major Pakistani business mission to Uzbekistan in February 2026;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u2014 joint work on establishing the Uzbekistan\u2013Pakistan Industrial Zone in Khorezm region;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u2014 the development of industrial cooperation and logistics clusters.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The forum once again demonstrated that the economic potential between our countries is enormous, and we are confidently moving forward to fully unlock it for the prosperity of the peoples of Uzbekistan and Pakistan.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI : The Embassy of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with Pakistan\u2019s leading pharmaceutical company Getz Pharma, organized a large-scale business forum attended by over 150 representatives of the business communities of both countries. \u00a0Mr. Khalid Mahmood, CEO of Getz Pharma, for his support, professionalism, and personal contribution to the successful organization of this event.
