Mr. Markiian Chuchuk<\/strong> reflected on \u201cFour Years of Ukraine\u2019s Struggle for Freedom,\u201d highlighting the immense human cost of the war, including over one million Russian casualties, tens of thousands of Ukrainian deaths, abductions of children, and the displacement of millions.<\/p>\n<p>He condemned Russia\u2019s imperial ambitions, emphasized Ukraine\u2019s commitment to peace, and stressed that compromise and political will from both sides are essential\u2014conditions he said remain absent on the Russian side. Ambassador Chuchuk also thanked Pakistan for its principled support and urged Islamabad to play an active role in advancing a just peace through its position on the UN Security Council.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EU Ambassador H.E Mr Raimundas Karoblis,<\/strong> speaking on behalf of Team Europe, praised Ukraine\u2019s resilience and reiterated the EU\u2019s unwavering support. She reiterated that Ukraine is ready for serious negotiations while Russia persists with maximalist demands, stressing that pressure on Moscow would continue until meaningful dialogue occurs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Polish Ambassador H.E. Mr. Maciej Pisarski<\/strong> condemned recent Russian strikes on residential areas and critical infrastructure as a deliberate strategy to inflict civilian suffering, particularly during the harsh winter. The EU is also actively working to increase pressure on Russia through further sanctions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We reiterate that any path to peace requires Russia to engage in serious negotiations directly with Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome the ongoing US-led peace efforts negotiations and we remain open to dialogue as part of broader international efforts to end the Russian aggression.
