President Prabowo visited Pakistan in Dec 2025 and held a one on one meeting with Field Marshal Asim Munir.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Earlier , in Pakistani media, some reports of Indonesian purchase of Pakistani JF-17 have appeared but the concerned authorities have shared no statement confirming the reports. However the ongoing visit of Pakistani Air Chief Marshal supports that media reports.<\/p>\n<p>As shared by Pakistani side, in meeting with President Prabowo Subianto, Pakistani Air Chief underscored the shared values and longstanding brotherhood between Pakistan and Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>President Prabowo expressed keen interest in leveraging PAF\u2019s state-of-the-art training ecosystem and aerospace development infrastructure to enhance Indonesia\u2019s defence capabilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Air Chief held separate high-level meetings with Defence Minister Lieutenant General (Retd) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces and Indonesian Air Marshal.
