\"\"VIENNA \/ Asutria : 17 Feb 2026 – At the United Nations Office in Vienna , Deputy Prime Minister \/ Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar signed the \u201cUNODC Country Programme for Pakistan (PAKCP4)\u201d with Acting Executive Director John Brandolino @JohnBrandolino.<\/p>\n

The ceremony, witnessed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif , marked an important step in strengthening Pakistan\u2019s partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime UNODC.<\/p>\n

Ishaq Dar\u00a0 signed the \u201cCollaborating Centre Agreement between the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Oncology (INMOL), Lahore, and the International Atomic Energy Agency\u201d with IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi @rafaelmgrossi. The DG presented a plaque designating INMOL as an IAEA Collaborating Centre.<\/p>\n

Ishaq Dar signed the \u201cUNIDO Programme for Country Partnership Pakistan 2026\u20132030\u201d with Mr. Yuko Yasunaga, Deputy Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization @UNIDO, at the United Nations Office in Vienna @UN.<\/p>\n

Witnessed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif @CMShehbaz, the agreement reinforces Pakistan\u2019s strong engagement with @UNIDO and the broader UN system.<\/p>\n

DPM\/FM Pakistan met Dr. Brigitta Blaha, who served as Austria\u2019s Ambassador to Pakistan (2014\u20132018). During that period, Pakistan and Austria signed the \u201cProtocol and Additional Protocol amending the Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income\u201d in Islamabad in 2015, when DPM\/FM was serving as Finance Minister.<\/p>\n

The DPM\/FM also met his Dr. Werner Fasslabend, former Austrian Defence Minister, and Ambassador Dr. Gabriela Sellner, Austria\u2019s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Vienna.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

United Nations Vienna noted on the social media , ” We welcome the Prime Minister of #Pakistan<\/span>, Shehbaz Sharif, to #UNVienna<\/span> today for a special event on sustainable development as the pathway for global peace and prosperity.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
