I mean, opposition is hand in glove with the treasury.<\/p>\n<p>After regime change in Pakistan, in April 2022, former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf of PPP became Speaker of National Assembly. The narrative of PMLN + PPP at that time was, \u201d Imran Khan ruined the economy and the country is about to default if not bankrupt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Raja Pervez Ashraf spent 100 Million Rs on the renovation of his official residence at Ministers enclave Islamabad. A source privy to the \u201cProject\u201d shared with this scribe that everything , furniture, tiles, curtains etc were state of the art and in the best condition but everything was changed and broken to make new.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"CeztcQWqhO\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/90-million-rs-car-arrived-for-chairman-senate-while-gop-announced-austerity-measures\/\">90 Million Rs Car Arrived for Chairman Senate While GoP Announced Austerity Measures<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;90 Million Rs Car Arrived for Chairman Senate While GoP Announced Austerity Measures&#8221; &#8212; Pakistan In the World\" src=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/90-million-rs-car-arrived-for-chairman-senate-while-gop-announced-austerity-measures\/embed\/#?secret=XjpJ5LJzbr#?secret=CeztcQWqhO\" data-secret=\"CeztcQWqhO\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Today, I came across another story in the Express Tribune that Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani ,again former PM and again from PPP, has purchased a luxury car worth Rs 90 Million.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PPP, I am emphasizing only because this party promotes itself as the people\u2019s party, a party that is from the people , for the people and by the people etc , but the leaders of this party seem to be from some royal families spending millions on their luxuries.<\/p>\n<p>On when side, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of PMLN who was the Prime Minister after the regime change of Imran Khan, announced the austerity measures to satisfy the poor public who were burdened with 55 Rs petroleum prices per liter and consequently unbearable wave of inflation, and on other side luxury vehicle worth Rs90 million reached at Senate Secretariat for the worthy Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Express News published a short report on one vehicle , that of Chairman only. Its reporter when contacted, Gilani confirmed that the car had been bought. \u201cYes, we purchased the car from the Senate budget, but it was ordered in May last year,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He explained that the vehicle had been ordered using \u201d SAVINGS\u201d from the Senate\u2019s budget of the previous year. It is V6 Twin Turbo drive. 9 is symbolic in it. Its price is 90 million &#8211; 9 karor Rs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Urdu Verse is the best fit on this situation ;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201d Hairaan hoon, Roouun Dil ko Keh Peetoon Jigar ko Main !<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Maqdoor ho tau Saath Rakhoon Nauha Gar ko Main \u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is our former Prime Minister and incumbent Chairman of the Upper House of the Parliament. Actually , it is not saving. The fund could not be used and was about to lapse (See the proximity , Cars ordered in May \u2013 Budget comes in June and the unused funds are taken back from those who fail to spend them in time).<\/p>\n<p>It also speaks a lot that the concerned authorities did not prepare any plan or project of national interest \/ benefit on which the fund could be spent.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the story of Luxury Mafia and Incompetent Mafia does not end here. There are more horrendous facts in the next episodes that leave no chance for us to attach any hope with our parliamentarians.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the one and only car bought for the chair only. The number of purchased cars is 5 and total expenditures are 150 Million Rs.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>So who are the beneficiaries of the remaining 4 cars?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2- Leader of the House \u2013 Who is he ? DPM\/FM Ishaq Dar<br \/>\n3- Deputy Chairman \u2013 Who is he ? Syedaal Khan Nasar from Balochistan PMLN<br \/>\n4- Leader of the Opposition \u2013 Yes ! You are reading the Leader of the Opposition \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas of Majlis e Wahdat ul Muslimeen MWM \/ practically Leader of PTI<br \/>\n5- ?<\/p>\n<p>Allama sahib ! This government is fake and formed with form 47 but the luxuries in this establishment are acceptable by the way ? The remaining 04 cars have not reached so far. Would you cancell their orders?<\/p>\n<p><strong>The costly vehicles bought for our Upper house honorable representatives are V8 Rs 90 Million, others are 1.6 and 1.8 Corollas, one is KIA big one.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last but not the least ! This royal purchase was unnecessary and has been done only for personal luxuries. The cars have been bought only because the funds were lapsing. The custodians of this poor country did not allow the funds to reach back to the government exchequer so that they could be used on some other necessary work but manouvered them as used for their personal gain only. Who knows there is some tale of kickbacks and commissions as well ?<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the President of Pakistan as head of PPP , Prime Minister of Pakistan as head of Gov should intervene ASAP, confiscate these vehicles and sell them in open auction if they are serious about austerity measures and if they are sharing the burden with the public.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHO IS THE BENEFICIARY OF THE 5TH CAR ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I do not know it right now frankly speaking.
