Afghanistan says it was Rehabilitation Center for drug addicts and Pakistan calls it Suicide Bombers Factory. 400 plus are being reported to be killed in Pakistani deadly strikes in Kabul at this hospital, center, factory, whatever. We accept it was drug addicts’ center. Now question is who are Drug Addicts ? What they can do? What not? I published an article of mine in my newspaper Daily Jinnah during Gen Musharraf regime with title , ” Where the drug addicts vanished?<\/p>\n

It was a time when every week one suicide attack was being conducted in Pakistan and the narrative of that time was ” Taliban reached at the Margallas.” The people who know Islamabad, can understand what does it mean. It means they were in Islamabad. It was exaggerated schenario though , by Gen Musharraf himself because his grip was weakening on the power and he was looking towards George Bush Junior to keep him and strengthen if the President of US wants Taliban do not capture Islamabad.<\/p>\n

But the use of drug addicts in suicide attacks was a reality. It was noted first in Rawalpindi where a large number of addicts was found in different areas but as soon as the series of suicide blasts started, most of them vanished from the scene. I wrote about it at that time.<\/p>\n

Afghan Interior ministry spokesman Abdul Mateen Qanie said 408 people were killed and 265 wounded. A junior spokesperson added that it was Pakistani air strike on a drug rehabilitation center in Kabul in the deadliest incident since fighting between the two began in October last year. The state-run Omid Hospital, was a 2,000-bed \u2060center.<\/p>\n

The number of casualties can not be confirmed as both sides are giving their own numbers but The Norwegian Refugee Council, an independent aid group, said its staff had seen large numbers of casualties.\u201cWe visited the hospital treating addicts in Kabul this morning and found hundreds of civilians dead and injured,\u201d it said \u200bin a statement.<\/p>\n

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said in a statement that dozens had been killed and injured and called for immediate de-escalation.<\/p>\n

Even if we accept the Taliban stance, still it strengthens the apprehension that the addicts may have been used to conduct suicide attacks in Pakistan that has lost more than 80 thousand precious lives of soldiers , LeAs, citizens including worshippers in Masjids in previous years generally and in last couple of years specifically with extraordinarily rising number of terrorist attacks.<\/p>\n

A drug addict\u2019s behaviour and responses are always different than normal people. They can do anything for their drugs. There are reports from different research organizations how the children of young age are attracted towards the addiction of drugs and touch of opposite sex. How they are allured to JANNAT.<\/p>\n

No sane mind person can blast him or her in a gathering of the people that have not done any damage to him her and kill all. It is only when the killer is out of his her mind and has been charged , radicalised with drugs. Drugs of three types ;<\/p>\n

1- Religious charging. Jehad, Jannat etc
\n2- Physical charging. Drug injection making the minds mouf
\n3- Sex attraction. It has been reported that the boys in teen ages are given this touch therapy to attract them to more and more and for that they are forced to blast themselves at targetted places<\/p>\n

Revenge is another reason ! Yes. The are again and again filled with revenge by telling them fake stories. Matter of fact is , Pakistan helped the Afghan people always from 1979 till now. Their people were killed by USSR military first in connivance with their own Kabul government. Later , It was US and Allies.<\/p>\n

Taliban groups had agreements with US and NATO allies during that time not to attack one another. Then why Pakistan is the target of Taliban and their terrorists? Because Pakistan still hosts 1.5 million Afghanis?<\/p>\n

Pakistan rejected the statement as \u2060false and misleading and said it had \u201cprecisely targeted military installations and terrorist support infrastructure\u201d on Monday night.<\/p>\n

Minister Information of Pakistan Attaullah Tarar has said Omid Hospital was miles away from Camp Phoenix, the \u201cmilitary terrorist ammunition and equipment storage site that has been targeted. The visible secondary detonations after the strikes \u200bclearly indicate the presence of large ammunition depots.<\/p>\n

Mosharraf Zaidi, a spokesperson for Pakistan\u2019s prime minister, said on X that the Afghan reference to drug users being targeted was \u201clies\u201d and Pakistan\u2019s \u201ccounterterrorism operations\u201d would continue for as long as it took to eliminate \u201cterrorists and their infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAll military operations will continue till such time as there is a change in the behavior and the ground reality in Afghan Taliban regime-controlled territory,\u201d Zaidi told Reuters in an interview late on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Zaidi said Pakistan conducted a total of six strikes on Afghanistan on Monday night, including at Camp Phoenix, which he said was used by the Afghan Taliban to \u201ctrain terrorists and store weapons.\u201d<\/p>\n

CNN reported, Kabul residents, including a Reuters journalist, said Camp Phoenix, an abandoned NATO military base in the city, was converted into a drug treatment center about a decade ago, and locals referred to it as Omid Camp, or \u201ccamp \u2060of hope,\u201d although its official name was \u201cIbn Sina Drug Addiction Treatment Hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to this journalist, whose name has not been shared by CNN, the place is the same but it was earlier something else and now something different. This is the same thing that we saw in case of Manib school attack in Iran in which US concoted the excuse, that it was military depot previously. The sympathizers or beneficiaries of US, brought another point , that US used 15 year old maps to conduct strikes. No doubt , it is ridiculous and a naive coverup only.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally, Pakistan is a country that has born the burden of millions of Afghanis for almost half century now providing them shelter, food and employment as well. In return, Pakistan got drugs, weapons, sabotage, terrorism culture only. Afghanis responded with hate only. That is why Pakistan has decided now ” Enough is Enough “.<\/p>\n

The countries of this region, exert their pressure on Taliban regime to do more now, not on Pakistan. They need to keep in mind, Kabul regime is not a legal gov but Pakistan is a responsible member of international community with legal gov and well organized institutions. Peace with Afghanistan is in the best interest of Pakistan and that is why , our neighbors and next door neighbors need to convince taliban to comply and implement the promises they committed at Doha.<\/p>\n
