President Masoud Pezeshkian has warned about Israel\u2019s \u201cvicious plan\u201d to spread the war to other regional countries, saying Muslim nations must not allow their territory to be used for launching attacks against other regional countries.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking during a phone conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday, Pezeshkian said that Iran\u2019s defensive reaction to the origins of attacks against its territory is natural, while noting that Iran does not want even one Muslim country to be harmed.<\/div>\n

Referring to the Pakistani support for Iran in the US-Israeli-imposed war against the country, the president appreciated the efforts by some neighboring countries, including Pakistan, to put an end to the invasion.<\/div>\n

Pezeshkian stressed that Iran came under the US-Israeli attacks while it was in the midst of negotiations. He added that despite the US claims about their intention not to attack the Iranian economic and energy infrastructure, some of these facilities were targeted, deepening further mistrust about American intentions.<\/div>\n

The Pakistani prime minister, for his part, condemned the recent Israeli attacks against Iranian economic facilities in Ahvaz and Isfahan, voicing the solidarity of the Pakistani government and people with the Islamic Republic of Iran.<\/div>\n

Sharif also appreciated an Iranian step to ensure the safe passage of trade vessels belonging to certain countries, including Pakistan, through the Strait of Hormuz, calling for this trend to be continued.\"\"<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The two leaders discussed the evolving regional situation and ongoing developments. DPM\/FM emphasized the need for de-escalation, stressing that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path for lasting peace. He also underscored the importance of an end to all attacks and hostilities.<\/p>\n

DPM\/FM said that Pakistan remains committed to supporting all efforts aimed at restoring regional peace and stability.<\/p>\n
