I don’t know anything about these highest level visits. For Mr Trump, it is not possible for it to be equal to accepting defeat for him. For Mr. Putin, it is not possible because 1- He postponed his visit to Pakistan in 2010 what Pakistan said “on the behest of India”. Mr. Putin has never hinted at his intention of visiting Pakistan after that. He enjoys the package that Pakistani leaders can meet him in Moscow.<\/p>\n

I know one thing that whenever we asked the Russian Ambassador about the visit of President Putin, he replied never in a positive way. Their mind is , the time is not ripe for the visit. They want at least a multi billion dollar agreement on the table to be signed for the visit. That is impossible as we have seen the end of so called cheap Russian Petroleum import to Pakistan.<\/p>\n

But\u2026. Yes! Second round of Islamabad Talks is possible for which President Trump has expressed hope while the Iranian side is also ready. This round should take place before 21 April certainly because 22 April is the Ultimatum of Mr. Trump to unleash the unseen unexpected destruction on Iran. He states that and it is not necessary to be like that, though.<\/p>\n

Trump confirms another round of US\u2013Iran talks possible in Pakistan. The next round of US\u2013Iran talks and a possible deal is expected by the end of this week in Islamabad. During the Islamabad talks, the US offered Iran a 20-year moratorium on uranium enrichment. This was described as the \u201cfinal, best offer\u201d that Vice President JD Vance mentioned in his press conference in Islamabad.<\/p>\n

American sources say the Iranian side was reportedly unsure whether to accept the offer and wanted to consult the leadership in Iran. Iran is now leaning toward accepting the 20-year moratorium on uranium enrichment in exchange for the lifting of sanctions and additional concessions.<\/p>\n

Recall what JD Vance said after the deadlock and end of Islamabad Talks ? He said, US can not accept a 2 years suspension of the nuclear program. He said, the US wants more than that and even beyond that and for the longest period of time.<\/p>\n

It means Iran was offering a 2 years break to the US in the talks. Now the Irani side has increased the time to 5 years. So, the back channel engagements are on and the time to stop nuclear is being discussed and Iran has moved forward from 2 to 5 years.<\/p>\n

For Trump, it does have attraction as an achievement because his term is 4 years in which he has 3 years left now on. He can not contest for the third time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
