Both leaders welcomed the positive momentum in Pakistan-Romania relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>They also exchanged views on regional and global issues, agreeing on the importance of continued dialogue and diplomacy for the peaceful resolution of conflicts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FM Romania shared on her X ;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">I have just concluded a call with DPM\/FM Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar <\/span><span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">.We discussed the regional developments in the Middle East, including the recently held Islamabad Talks. I thanked Minister Ishaq Dar for Pakistan\u2019s sustained mediation efforts, alongside regional partners, that led to the ceasefire agreement and prevented further military escalation in the region. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">We agreed on the necessity to return to a state of stability and security in the broader region. Reaching the conditions for the reopening the Strait of Hormuz to unhindered naval traffic is our shared priority. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">I conveyed Romania\u2019s readiness to support mediation and de-escalation efforts and continue our coordination with regional and international partners.
