Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has issued a message on the occasion of National Army Day, stressing that the Islamic Army is now courageously defending the land, water, and flag that belong to it, just as it did in the previous two imposed wars.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He issued a message on the occasion of the anniversary of the creation of the Islamic Republic of Iran\u2019s Army and the birthday anniversary of the martyred Leader on Saturday.<\/div>\n
He congratulated everyone in the Army, their esteemed families, and the great nation of Iran on this occasion.<\/div>\n

The Islamic Army is now courageously defending the land, water, and flag that belong to it, just as it did in the previous two imposed wars, Ayatollah Khamenei said, adding, \u201cWith its strong support from Allah and the people, in compact, solid ranks, and standing side by side with their comrades from the other armed forces, it\u2019s battling the two leading armies of disbelief and Arrogance. And the Islamic Army has exposed those armies\u2019 weakness and humiliation to the world.\u201d<\/div>\n

\u201cIndeed, Allah loves those who fight in His way in ranks, as if they were a strong structure\u201d (Quran 61:4).<\/div>\n

The 29th of Farvardin (April 18th) is the auspicious anniversary of the creation of the Islamic Republic of Iran\u2019s Army, which was named by the Great Imam Khomeini (ra) with his wise innovation. I congratulate everyone in the Army, their esteemed families, and the great nation of Iran on this occasion.<\/div>\n

The victory of the Islamic Revolution can be considered to be a dividing line between two sections in the life of the Army. It should be seen as the end of a period of weakness that was imposed on the country\u2019s courageous, truthful Army and soldiers by the enemies of this land and water, and at the hands of traitors from inside the country.<\/div>\n

From that time on, the Army stood in its rightful place. Instead of being under the control of the tyrannical, corrupt Pahlavi regime, it was in the warm embrace of the nation. Truly, the Army is like the nation\u2019s child, which arises from within the hearts of the people\u2019s homes.<\/div>\n

The Army was soon able to create an epic by confronting the sinister schemes of the US, the descendants of the Pahlavi tyrant, and the separatists who wished for a divided Iran.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Furthermore, the 29th of Farvardin also marks the birthday of someone who was a unique person in our era. That is, our illustrious, martyred Leader. He was a person who exerted his utmost efforts to protect the Army against sinister calls for its dissolution from the very first decade of the Revolution.<\/div>\n

After that, he continued to work tirelessly to enhance the Army\u2019s capabilities in various dimensions. Without a doubt, the upward trajectory in the increase of the diverse capabilities of this noble institution, backed by the people, which safeguards the country from foreign aggression.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In a message on Saturday, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi<\/strong> praised the Armed Forces for their tireless sacrifices, stating that the country\u2019s international standing and diplomatic achievements are deeply rooted in the dedication of its military personnel.<\/div>\n

Addressing the Army\u2019s commander, Araghchi emphasized that Iran is navigating a critical historical period in which the Armed Forces continue to safeguard national interests and maintain stability. He called the day an opportunity to honor the heroism and devotion of the Iranian Army\u2019s four branches.<\/div>\n

The minister added that Iran\u2019s security and strength stem from the unwavering resolve of brave servicemen who have defended the nation\u2019s borders under all circumstances.
