He noted that women, youth and local communities should be included in decision-making processes to ensure practical and effective solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The governor appreciated the efforts of the DICE Forum for creating a platform for dialogue on critical policy issues and acknowledged the support of ZLK Securities and partner organisations in promoting collaboration on climate resilience and inclusive growth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chairperson of the DICE Forum Aliya Agha<\/strong> said the seminar aimed to place inclusion at the centre of climate governance and encourage evidence-based dialogue on adaptation, disaster risk reduction and sustainable livelihoods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-63525\" src=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/DICE-Forum-KP-Governor-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"175\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/DICE-Forum-KP-Governor-1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/DICE-Forum-KP-Governor-1-300x88.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><em><strong>A panel discussion was also held during seminar, where experts shared recommendations and practical insights on addressing the growing challenges of climate change.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Speakers, including Shagufta Malik, Dr. Rabia Gul, Dr. Sumera Shams, Dr. Khalid Khan, Dr. Zubair Khan and Engineer Ahmad Jan Khan emphasised the need for gender-responsive climate governance, community-based adaptation strategies, climate-smart agriculture, sustainable water management and greater access to climate finance for vulnerable populations.<\/p>\n<p>Participants also stressed the importance of strengthening disaster preparedness systems, supporting local resilience mechanisms and improving coordination between government institutions, academia, private sector stakeholders and development organisations.<\/p>\n<p>During the event, awards were presented to Mr. Azmat and Mr. Muhammad Hilal Khan in recognition of their humanitarian services, particularly for saving lives during the 2025 floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n<p>The event was also attended by President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Junaid Altaf, Senior Vice President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khalid Farooq, along with representatives of civil society, lawyers, students and women.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar concluded with a call for continued collaboration among public institutions, private sector partners and policy platforms to advance inclusive climate action and build long-term resilience in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"ddpLB8eZiT\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/pakistan-in-the-world-march-april-2026\/\">Pakistan in the World \u2013 March \/ April 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute;
